A few years ago, I read reports over the fact that some iPhone sevens had explosive batteries kind of like the galaxy note 7. Is this actually true? Did Apple make early fourth of July explosive iPhones? Or is this all just fake news to scare people into thinking that it was gonna be fourth of July early.. Just asking out of pure randomness, and because my brain is kind of divided. I don’t know if these reports are true or false.. And because I’m sorry for the iPhone 7 over the fact you didn’t get iOS 16

Iphone 7
I used to own a iphone 7 for about 4, 5 years. Nothing. The battery was always good. The only thing I I can think of is the battery exploded do to maybe a failure in the battery of the galaxy phones or something, but I've never heard or experiensed this happening on a iphone 7.
Probably a Bunch of...
There's an iPhone 7 setting right next to me. It hasn't exploded yet, though the battery isn't in good health, charge-capacity wise. I did have an iPhone 6 that developed a swollen battery and the screen split away from the case along one edge. I was a little worried about that one exploding into flames if the casing of the battery gave out and exposed the insides to air from being dropped or squeezed. I ended up having it recycled, so that someone else could deal with the situation.
