Issues with iOS 17 predictive typing

Hi all,
Has anyone figured out how to use the new predictive typing feature in iOS 17? VoiceOver announces the word suggestions as I'm typing, which is quite annoying. I also find that some of the suggested words are being entered into the text field, so I'm assuming I'm inadvertently selecting them when typing.

Go into settings>geneeral>keyboard and find the predictive controls. There should be a second control to turn off inline predictions. See if that helps.

I haven't tested this on IOS but Mac Mail I have autocorrect off as i can't stand it,a nd it still puts in words. Good luck.

I actually like it quite a bit. Iā€™m not having any problems figuring out its use. Like anything new, it takes a bit of practice and it becomes part of usability
