Hey guys, a couple of questions from a business owner.
Recently, we've equipped our office with Apple devices, from iMacs and Pro Displays to Magic Mouses, Magic Keyboards, and MacPros.
I love how our office looks now, and I want to keep the equipment in the same pristine condition for years to come.
Who manages the cleaning of your devices in your office? Do you rely on a professional cleaning service, or does your team take care of it themselves?
Additionally, for those who handle it in-house, what cleaning products or methods have you found to be most effective for keeping your Apple devices in pristine condition?
Thanks

Cloth
When I was working, those who had Apple devices, did it themselves. I use the little cloth that came with the iPhone. Now I use a paper towel, I get it wet a little and gently clean my devices at home. Do not use any cleaning spray or detergent. Maybe those baby wipes.
My favorite alcohol wipes for medical and electronic use
While looking for my next medical purchase of alcohol wipes, I also had electronic use cleaning in mind, as well. I came across these, and they are way more than adequate. The packaging is very strong, and seals well. The material is some version of a cotton, which means they do not rip very easily. These are completely saturated, but don't drip. I have no fear of using these on electronics or medical needs, alike. Although these may be a little expensive, I couldn't recommend them highly enough, for your office use. I hope these help. You can find these wipes on amazon.com.

Apple
I think apple suggest you do not use any strong thing such as alcohol.
Cleaning Apple Devices
See this Apple Support article:

I'd have your staff clean devices themselves. Cleaning crews could accidentally damage the devices if they don't know what they're doing.
You may wish to consider a "no food at desk" policy. Drinks should be in covered containers. You may wish to invest in The Mighty Mug for your office crew. These are unspillble mugs that attach via suction to your desk so they won't tip laterally if they're knocked over, but easy to lift vertically for when you want a sip of your drink. They're easy to find on Amazon or visit https://themightymug.com
Congrats on the new gear.
RE: Apple does not recommend using strong substances such as alc
Yes, I believe every single manufacturer out there says to not utilize alcohol pads for such things. However, I am a common sense girl, and I like good quality products, this is why I recommended. Of course I wouldn't want anyone to violate any version of a warranty, but in my book, good, common sense Products just works for me.
I use cotton swabs as well
Works well on my phone in case. I just don't use it on the screen or camera
Cleaning company
given that,
given that on apple's own site, they state the following.
To clean hard-to-remove smudges or fingerprints on the display or exterior of your Mac, you can use a cloth moistened with a 70-percent isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution to gently wipe the display or enclosure of your Mac laptop.
you should be ok using that. just don't have it dripping. a little bit goes a long way.
