Shake device to enable flash light and improve color recognition
Hello.
At first, I thought the color recognition feature is not very reliable, reporting either gray or mixed most of the time, until I read the tutorial in the app which says you can shake the device to turn the flash light on or off. Even in day light, I have found the flash light enabled recognizing colors much better. It reports only basic colors like red, green, aqua or mixed, but it's doing its job even when using it while scanning straight in my dresser, also letting me to differentiate between green and blue shirt. This is the most precise color recognition app I have tried.
There is also a free version Seeing Assistant Home Lite which has some limited functionality, but color recognition is not limited.
Kind regards
Very Nice App
I have been on the lookout for an app which--among other things--provides audible assistance in aiming the phone in order to effectively scan food items. This app seems to fit the bill, but only time will tell. I've used other similar apps and am very impressed with them, but my aim hasn't been that great. I've pretty much always tried to be health-conscious, with hit-or-miss results. But at a recent doctor visit I found out I need to pay particular attention to some of my health values. Perhaps I'll check out the other apps and the game in the SA suite too.
