Numbers closing directly after opening

Hello, all, I hope this finds everyone doing well. I have a 64GB iPhone 5S on Verizon running the latest iOS software. All of my apps open and work correctly--all other Apple apps included (Pages, Keynote, Find Friends, ETC.) except for Numbers. Every time I open Numbers to create a new spreadsheet, it kicks me right back to my home screen. I've reset the phone multiple times in various ways, and uninstalled/reinstalled the app just as many times. I've done a cold reboot if you will--holding the home and power buttons down for fifteen seconds. I've reset all phone settings three times uninstalling and reinstalling the app each time. I've also reset my phone to factory defaults twice. None of this has netted me anything. As I said, I can use Keynote and Pages successfully, but not Numbers. Is anyone else experiencing this issue, and if so, what worked for you to solve it? Thanks, all, for your time. Take care, Shanda

All, I think this is a real serious bug. I haven't tried it without vo but numbers crashes early on all my ios7 devices, iPhone 5s, iPod touch 5 and iPad mini.
AT&T iPhone 4S running IOS 7.0.2, VoiceOver running, Numbers v1.7.3. The Numbers App launches and seems OK until I open a document and begin to navigate, at which time the app kicks me out to the home screen. At that point the app is still listed in the app switcher, but re-opening it from there lands me in the file management window rather than the document that was open when the app closed. The following troubleshooting steps did not seem to help: shut down and restart the iPhone; Quit and relaunch the Numbers app; Perform a Settings / General / Reset / Erase all content and settings; Reinstall the Numbers App. Bryan
Hello, all, I just had some one-sided test this for me. If voice over is disabled and you try to open numbers, you can do so with no problem. You can look through the getting started material, as well as create a spreadsheet. Just thought I'd let everyone know. Take care, Shanda
