Hi all,
Has anybody had a large amount of success with the Meetup app? I can initially respond to events and make comments, but I can’t change my RSVP. The homepage is also extremely cluttered, and the layout really doesn’t make a lot of sense, and there appears to be quite a few things we can’t do. Unfortunately, there is no point talking to a giant company like that about it, because if one person says something they aren’t even going to bat and eyelid. wondering if anyone has found some tricks? Apart from going out and turning on the laptop and going through the website. Which isn’t perfect either.

you have to start somewhere
You would be surprised I had success with a major company. I'm just one person go for it contact them give them this link.
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/accessibility/supporting_voiceover_in_your_app
that is the accessibility link from Apple on how to make your app accessible.
My experience.
I used to use meetup a couple of years or more back, and am surprised it's not fully accessible.
It wasn't when I used it so if you do send the email, I'd not expect anything back except a canned response.
You might want to try eventbright, it's quite a bit more accessible from what I understand.
Eventbrite
Hi Brad, yes it is a little bit more accessible, but it’s still very messy and cluttered and just irritating. Thankfully a lot of Meetup social groups are going across the Facebook now because the organisers can’t afford the ridiculous fees.
