Hi friends,
I have switched to mac from windows very recently.
I have copied the songs from the windows PC to my mac and I need a help regarding the following.
1. A accessible ID3 tag editor, which can automatically detect the various info about the song such as, album, artist, etc . and can save it to the song, so that the music app in the mac can display the songs correctly. Presently the music app displays only track one, track two etc.
2. I am also in need of a good accessible RSS reader app for mac and iPhone which can sync across easily, I.E. if there are totally 100 unread articles, I read 25 in my iPhone and when I come back to mac it should have only 75 unread articles.

Looking for RSS Reader as well
Looking for this on the mac as well.
1. MP3 Tag, available on mac…
1. MP3 Tag, available on mac app store.
2. Lire, also available on the app store for both iPhone and Mac.
Both are fully accessible.
Why would you use a 3rd…
Why would you use a 3rd party rss reader? Like apple podcast is rss by nature isn't it? Thank you for mp3tag I knew it for windows wasn't aware it's also accessible on mac.
RSS for News
I think the OP's question is about RSS readers for news articles on websites. I am only a casual Mac user at best, but I too am interested in this.
Apple Podcasts is for audio…
Apple Podcasts is for audio RSS. I assumed OP meant for news articles. I've got mine populated with The Verge, New Scientist, etc. It would be nice to have an all in one. There is an app simply called Reader which does this, long form audio, articles and so on, but it's not accessible.
Lire is good because you can pull in or export personal RSS feeds. I've got mine set to iCloud sync at the moment so, whatever device I install it on my feed is there but, if you're using other platforms and want to use a different RSS feed reader you can export to something like Feedly and then import elsewhere.
It's not without issue though. There are some pages that don't render well and there are a bunch of settings you can try for various ways of it pulling down and presenting the page. My understanding of how it pulls in the page is sketchy. Sometimes it is fine, other times you only get the first part of the page, it's dependent on the source but I believe there are ways of setting it up to scrape/import in specific ways for each RSS feed.
Re: 1. MP3 Tag, available on mac…
hi Ollie, I searched for both the apps in the apps store, it seems both are paid apps. Is there any free apps available for the same?
Re: Looking for RSS Reader as well
Hi Maldalain, I came across a app named Newsify, the app is also accessible in IOS. The app can be used freely and can be upgraded to pro as well. I was able to successfully install it in my m2 mac, but when I click on the feedly log in and give my user name password nothing seems to happen. I am not sure what is going wrong.
Ah, yes. It's been a while…
Ah, yes. It's been a while since I installed them and forgot they were paid.
I'd argue that they are worth it though and, fortunately, they don't have the annoying subscription model.
Re: Ah, yes. It's been a while…
I need the ID3 tag editor just for one time use for bulk updating the songs copied from the windows PC. once these old songs are tagged properly, I don't have the utility for the app, because these days I am using only online music streaming app for listening music.
There's a free 7 day trial…
There's a free 7 day trial if you get it direct from the website. Hopefully you could get everything done in that time:

Re: There's a free 7 day trial…
Hi thank you so much. I think that should be enough for my needs. I will try it and revert back.
NetNewsWire
This is a free and open source RSS reader for the Mac and iPhone. I haven't used it in a while as I switched to Lire but it is excellent. I only switched to Lire because of the way it automatically downloads the web content for those articles that are just links elsewhere. NetNewsWire doesn't have that but otherwise it's a nice, simple and easy to use app.
