I have a wish list of what I want Apple to add in terms in VoiceOver features:
1. Changes to how VoiceOver describes images when navigating. I want a feature where you can ask questions about the image that was described to you by VoiceOver. This would be similar to the Picture Smart AI that was introduced with JAWS this year.
2. Run VoiceOver without speech, I want a setting that you can toggle and it would stop VoiceOver from talking when I turn my phone on. This would be useful for Braille users who don't want to hear VoiceOver talk. It would also work when you turn VoiceOver off and then back on. Think of it like macOS where when you turn off VoiceOver and then you turn it on you get no speech feedback.
VoiceOver being it's own application, I want VoiceOver to be it's own stand-alone app which is useful so that way we do not have to go to the Settings app then Accessibility then VoiceOver. On your Home Screen it would be easier to find then going deep into Settings.
Disagree with voiceover being its own standalone app on ios. Mac VO is not very appreciated and part of the reason is this semantic, as it's nothing less than an utility in the hierarchy of app as for its settings.
Point 1, yeah this will be similar to what talkback does.
A very niche feature I will probably never try myself even for ttesting, it will be a great marketing from apple if they can get the braille screen input to the vision pro as spacial braille input, they literally have everything for it and this would be sick to see.
I have much more to say on a macos 16 voiceover wish list though.
I honestly have no thoughts on iOS 19, but if it is better than day 1 of the public release of iOS 17, it will be a win. However, there are already rumors on iPhone 17 being Apple's first "Flip" smartphone. If you do not know what that is, just imagine something like an iPhone 16 Pro Max, that unfolds into an iPad mini.

More BS
I honestly think it'll have more AI bs, plus some minor useful stuff.
Stability
More about focussing on making the iOS stable, focus on bugs and finish AI. Nothing major to talk about.
iOS 19 which list

Not exact, but close enough I suppose. 🤷
Flip iPhone
I don't think apple will risk it with the flip phones for now.
Flip phones are starting to…
Flip phones are starting to come back so wouldn't be surprised if apple did go for that. Look at the ZFlip 6 or whatever it's called.
