After upgrading to iOS 18.2 Developer Beta 4, I have encountered a weird issue. The VoiceOver volume can only be set to 100 percent. You were able to go past that amount but with this beta update, it seems that the VoiceOver volume limit can only be set to 100 percent. Anyone else facing this issue?

This was already present in previous betas. Reported. Sad to see it hasn't been patched yet.

My VO appears better now. Voice volume tended to go up or down but severely, it just was a pain. I think apple made change to audioducking again.

There is a new control for audio ducking amount. You can add it to the rotor or you can also find it in quick settings.
Now, the speech volume goes up to 100% and, the new ducking level controls the amount other media is pushed down.
This, in my opinion, is much better.

Beside the old audioducking?

see @Theepan response this is not a bug.

Well it's all the same settings as in 18.0 and 18.1 Except, no there are two separate controls for voiceover speech volume and audio ducking amount.
In iOS 18.0, they introduced the same functionality but they use the same control for both volume level and ducking amount.
Zero through 100 would adjust the voiceover speech volume and 100 to 199 determined how much the other media was pushed down. From 18.2, these two are separate.

I agree this new way sounds much better. Too many folks were getting tripped up over the fact that volume went over 100%. 🀷
