I am trying to create a shortcut to open a particular web page so that I can just ask Siri to open the page.
There is an "Open URL" shortcut which I thought would be trivial to implement.
so I added the shortcut and swiped up on it to get to "Edit URL". I then performed a double tab using Voiceover.
Although a keyboard came up on the screen, I didn't see any edit box for pasting in the URL which I copied from Saffari. What is going on with these shortcuts and trying to put them together with Voiceover? Is there some kind of trick?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Edit fields in Shortcuts can…
Edit fields in Shortcuts can be a bit weird. If you're using an external keyboard, the paste shortcut will still work, or if it's an iPad a paste button should appear.
If you're on a phone, the easiest thing to do is first, find the text action. That will give you a proper text box to paste into. Then, find the open url action and add it. It should say open url text
This should mean that whatever's in the text box will get opened.
Re: Edit fields and shortcuts
Thanks for the tip about using the Text action. Using that action I was able to just paste in the URL as you described. Don't know why other text boxes for other actions don't work like this one.
When I tried to enter the URL into the text field associated with the Open URL action, no editable text box appeared even though the on screen keyboard did. So, as you said, I might have been able to paste the URL if I had a blue tooth keyboard, but not using Voiceover.
Anyway, thanks. Wish this shortcuts app was more accessible with Voiceover.
