Hello.
Due to the recent onset of fires in Southern California, I’m specifically looking for fire watch applications.
Specifically one that’s accessible using VoiceOver.
I’ve tried a couple of apps and couldn’t find one that was really accessible.
I use the Weather Gods app and the Weather application built into the phone to keep track of the high winds warnings and red flag warnings and various news sources.
The app I specifically tried is
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/watch-duty-wildfire-maps/id1574452924
I found I couldn’t click on some of the elements in the app, like nearby fires, and looking for a specific place/city because the keyboard wasn’t showing up.

Did you try
using it with screen recognition? Sometimes elements work if turned on. Even if they don't when off. Just a thought.
Yes. And it worked for the most part
Yes.
it was accessible for the most pertinent information like acres, containment, location of the fire, some of the red flag warnings, and the menu items
Found a possibility
Try the following. This works with voiceover, though it may be a little limiting. Works off of your location services. So, while I was able to test out the app, I could not tell you what was happening in California, as I am not in California.
