Hi.
I am using a macbook air m3 from 2024 with macos 15.3 currently. Since a week or so i have the problem that all browsers i have installed suddenly tend to open websites in mobile mode. The weird thing really is that this happens both in brave and safarie. I have no idea what is causing this and it is really anoying. I am using the macbook air standard display and have not changed any window settings, at least not on purpose.
Any idea what could be causing this would be apreciated.

Thanks for your response.
@oliver: No, the problem is that websites open in the mobile mode, so for example when i open youtube, it opens with the sidebar hidden or, a worse example, if i open suno ai (even in another browser) it opens in the really ugly mobile view. The weird thing here is that this also happens in browsers other then safari.
@jim pickens as far as i understand that would be safari specific, or am i missing something here?

Check Websites Safari Prefs First
Obviously, if you have your default site setting configured to load the mobile version, then that'll be your problem.
On the other hand you did say that it affects all browsers …
A long shot
Could it just be that all of your browsers are opening at full screen? Typically, when a browser is in fullscreen, certain UI elements are hidden by default. Try putting your browser in a window mode, and see what happens.

Sorry, I didn't read your question properly and was on the way out.
It is a weird one. You don't happen to have developer mode on and have set it to display for IOS rather than full fat safari?
