Problem with Qardio app and device.

I was wondering if anyone is still using any of the Qardio devices with the Qardio app? I haven’t used my Qardio arm blood pressure monitor for quite a while and when I tried to use it today, I couldn’t even sign in. It said that the server was unreachable, and I read a lot of Things on the Store from other people about having the same problem. There were rumors that the company was going bankrupt. Then I couldn’t even take my blood pressure with the Qardio arm device because I couldn’t even get it to Bluetooth to my iPhone 15. And I tried replacing the batteries. I was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions?

Once you logo out, you are done. The Apple Watch will still work.

Hi all.

My app is no longer working. I tried to weigh myself this morning and nothing was happening. So I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Now when I try to login, it gives me a server error.

Before this scale, I used to have a scale by withings. That one also became inaccessible after initially being accessible.

So, does anybody know of an accessible scale with an app that works with VoiceOver?

Will this scale still work as a normal scale for my sighted wife?
Thanks for any help.

The Qardio company is bankrupt and their website is down. The only way I can use my Qardio arm is with an old version of the app on my iPhone7 that doesn't require a sign-in to pair. The app update required an iOS higher than the version 15 limit on the 7. This is unfortunate for iPhone owners that updated the app. I looked for a workaround, but so far it seems my Qardio hardware is useless on my iPhone 15 with the app that will not connect.

Thanks for your reply. Are there any other recommendations for other accessible blood pressure monitoring apps? I need to buy another blood pressure monitor but I like the ones the Bluetooth to my phone and all the records are kept on my iPhone. Thanks for any feedback.

I too was trying to use a Qardio arm with a new iPhone 16 and got the same error. I found this Reddit post which describes a free open-source alternative called OfflineQArm. I installed from the app store, and it works like a charm.

Thanks for that information. I wish I had held on to the BP monitor device, because I would have tried to use it with that app. Any other smart apps that are accessible for taking blood pressure would be appreciated. Thanks.

I also like how the battery percentage on the app is accessible as well and reads the percentage.

@joe As far as I know this is the only accessible blutooth bp device.
