Hi AppleVis,

I have a very very but very good question.
Are we allowed to submit forums in other languages instead of English?

This could be helpful if there is someone on the site that doesn't speak English.

I don't think it's a good idea.
If anyone, like me, doesn't speak English, and i should post a question in Dutch, most people here can't understand my problem so they also can not reply to me except someone who speak Dutch too.

When other languages will be accepted here, there will be a huge number of topics in foreign languages which the moderators also can't check for, let's say, ilegal things.

But there is an option for people who isn't capable to write in English, or don't know how to describe their problem.

Go to an AI chatbot like ChatGPT and write the question in their own language end ask GPT to translate it. Then paste it in the forum here and wen someone answers, do the opposite.

I know my English isn't very well, but i hope i made myself cllear.
And i didn't sound rude.

Solving this problem is actually not difficult. Whether you use a computer or an iPhone, you only need to install the Immersive Translate browser extension.
It can not only efficiently translate pages into your native or familiar language, but more importantly, it can also translate the content you type in the edit box into English with one click.
Since Immersive Translate supports various large language models, you can easily choose the model that best suits you to translate page content or your input content, and they can be specified separately.
Finally, the plugin's settings are also very intuitive and accessible.
By the way, Immersive Translate already comes with some basic translation engines, and you can also pay to use their advanced engines. But I think it's too expensive. Fortunately, they provide the function of customizing APIs. You can configure your various large model APIs yourself to use it for free.

Hi Allabtech,

We are currently only able to accept posts in English, for the reasons that Marcel mentioned above. Multilingual support is something that we are very interested in, and while I do not want to make any promises lest they not pan out the way we want, what I can say is that in the coming months we plan to investigate available options to evaluate what's out there and how it might work for our use case.
