Share Your Bug Reports with AppleVis

If you experience a bug in Apple Beta Software, the most important thing you can do is to file a report in Feedback Assistant. Please do not assume that Apple is already aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference; your report may provide crucial information, and submitting bug reports directly to Apple helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority Apple is likely to give to fixing the bug.

If you are using beta software, please use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you are using a public release, this blog post explains how to report the issue and what information to include.

In 2025, AppleVis launched the Community Bug Reporting Program with the goal of improving the quality and quantity of information we share with the community about bugs in Apple software releases. If you would like to contribute to this effort, please submit your reports via our Community Bug Report Form.

All reports shared with AppleVis must first be filed with Apple via Feedback Assistant. More information about the Community Bug Program is available here.

Hello,
Ever since OS26 was released in beta for developers back in June, I’ve been unable to add apps to my dock, by way of edit mode.
?Has anyone else seen this & might be willing to share any workarounds? I’ve reported this bug several times, with 0 acknowledgement from Apple.
Based on this information, how do you recommend I proceed?

Have you guys notice that there are new ringtones? They are six alternate versions of reflection as well as a new ringtone called Little Bird.

Here is the workaround I found that works for me.

1. Find the app you want to move to the dock.
2. Swipe down with one finger to edit and double tap.
3. Double tap and hold on the app you want to move to the dock.
4. Drag it to where the dock is. Note: You may or may not have speech during this. If you are spatially aware of your orientation of your screen, you should see the app sitting on the dock.

Hope this helps.

Have you guys noticed this? I am using an iPad Air M3 with a Magic Keyboard. When I turn off the single key quick nav with caps lock +q, I can type with or without the QuickNav On with left + right arrow keys in edit fields. When I turn on the single key quick nav with caps locks + Q, I cannot type no matter which way the quick nav is set. I saw this in the last beta and didn’t see anything. Personally, if this is a bug, I like it.

so this is for users with some sight, there is a new tutorial explaining visual design in liquid glass. as well, on first boot, you get no speach. go to the home screen, and before the tutorial, the license agreement is presented, which I highly recommend reading, especially for us developer beta testers.

Updated my iPad 9 to PB 2. VO crashed the system. Got help from a sighted friend. After crashing it created a feedback report we sent it. Hope PB 3 works with VO. Will update when I see my friend on Sunday.

Hi, VoiceOver now reports tabs correctly! thanks apple for resolving the issue wquickly, continue to report feedback to apple, if you have found anymore issues.

This is on an iPhone 15.

Fixed:
β€’ VoiceOver said space after saying Tab in tab bars.
β€’ Back buttons no longer say dimmed, despite their clickable state. I have yet to find any, but so far the back buttons I've clicked seem to be fixed.
Not Fixed:
β€’ Several areas claim that a drop is available on braille displays, even though there's nothing to drag and drop. I'm guessing this has to do with the bounce effects that now come with the liquid glass look, so it must be thinking something is droppable, however this is just a theory.
β€’ Several buttons in the Games app are still unlabeled.

The bug where you can't download some voices is still not fixed.

I'm on the public beta 2 and have two issues that I was wondering if anyone else has seen and if so is it fixed in this release? First despite not having it enabled occasionally the phone will tell me I've done a back tap. The other is that when opening apps and it doesn't seem app specific the phone will lock instead of opening the app. They are both so random and rare to happen that it is impossible to reproduce them. Just very occasionally does it.

If I tap reset all settings to see if I can fix this annoying issue, will you cannot download some voices, will this also delete my Eason?

Just jumping in here to say I think the setting you want is to Reset All VoiceOver Settings, new in iOS 26 Beta. This will reset all VoiceOver settings to their defaults but leave all other settings unmodified. You should be able to find this at or near the bottom of the main VoiceOver settings page.
