Hello,
After iOS 26, have the braille display issues been fixed? The main one I was having was the return command not working in text fields, at all, and sometimes I couldn't type in my passcode on the display. Have these been fixed? These are my main concerns before upgrading. I use a BrailleNote Touch Plus.

Guess Not
I tried on iPad and my issues are still there. I don't know if it has something to do with the Liquid Glass stuff or not.
Focus Blue connecting issue fixed?
Hoping they've resolved this anoying issue, which is I think in place since IOS 16, where you are obligated to connect your Focus Braille display every one or two hours manually.
Wait, nevermind
So! More testing has been done and I finally fixed it. I had to turn off single letter quick nav which is a thing that I discovered only today. Now everything works as it did. And honestly... the update changes almost nothing except the UI of some apps.
I'm having similar issues
I can't enter my passcode. When I try, it says zero items found. I also can't activate the app switcher with chord plus H twice quickly. All this was working before. Using a Brailliant BI20X with IOS26.0.1 what is single-letter quicknav? The quicknav you toggle with space plus Q is off.
Re: I'm having similar issues
Hi Bingo. To clerify, this issue concerns Single Letter QuickNav, not the general version. TO turn Single Letter QuickNa on or off, press space, backspace, and q. Note the added backspace key. I hope this will help. Ive found one other thing that could be causing this, if the control key is locked down, braille will behave very similarly.
Thank you, Scott!
I am very, very grateful. This toggle did indeed restore sanity - a good thing too because I was getting really fed up with the strange behaviour. This leads to my next question: obviously, I'm really pleased you knew about this toggle command but why couldn't I find it anywhere in settings? Why has Apple hidden it away as if it were something about which to be embarrassed? Really annoying. You also mentioned the control key being locked down. This turns out not to have been the issue in my case but could you explain what to do about that on a Braille keyboard should it ever happen? Thanks again, scott - it's like having a new Braille display.
TO Bingo
I'm glad it worked out for you. It's a bug that sometimes randomly shows up for reasons I will never understand.
The Control key toggle is used for when you want to emulate a Bluetooth keyboard command but are not quick enough to combine it with the modifier. Though I've never used the Control key for this, I used to have to toggle the Command key when performing certain commands like Command Shift D to send an email. Anyway, the toggle for the control key exhibits very similar behavior to when Single Letter QuickNav is enabled. TO toggle the Control key, press space with dots 3-8. If it's on, it will be turned off and vice versa.
