I'll try this out.
I'll try this out, it sounds fun. Hopefully they keep improving accessibility.
Adding Username
How do you add account information on the web version? I can't figure that out.
Re: Adding username
I'm not sure exactly how to do it from the web version. In order for me to set a username and password, I had to use the reset password feature on the site with the email address used with Sign in with Apple. I had to put in a support ticket to get my username changed. I sent the support ticket Friday, and they got back to me this morning. If you have to send a support ticket, you might get a faster response time since it's no longer the weekend.
Severe Bug
Right now, I'm unable to progress at all in the app. I was able to select my first trap, but whenever I hit next on the tutorial dialogue it just loops back on itself without letting me get any further.
I've tried everything to attempt to fix this: redownloading the app, restarting my phone, logging out and signing in again, trying to progress on the website but nothing has helped. I'm not going to be able to play until this is resolved.
Getting through the tutorial
The only way I found to get through that part of the tutorial is to double-tap and hold the "next" button.
accessibility improvements
I haven't had to tap and hold at all yet. The accessibility seems solid enough, but I hate that some parts of the tutorial voiceover can only read letter by letter. That drives me crazy. Hopefully they'll keep making accessibility improvements to this game. Is there a place we can give suggestions?
Sending suggestions and a few things to watch out for later on
You might be able to suggest accessibility improvements by sending a support ticket or through the Discord. I've seen one of the developers there.
As I've gotten further in the game, I've noticed a few more issues. The numbers in the heads up display that changes depending on the current area aren't labeled. The HUD is the option that appears before the journal option. This doesn't matter much in the first few areas, but I can see it becoming a major issue in the more complicated areas.
Secondly, the only way to get crafting to work is to click on the "more items" option at the bottom before doing it. Crafting itself is accessible though.
This sounds cool
This seems very interesting but I have no idea how to do it on my phone. It works on my old apple watch series three though. On the phone i says that the trap was a great choice and that they have loaded it and hen says sheddar cheese. I see a button saying tap to edit trap and then an unlabeled button that seems to take me to the sheddar cheese if I am not mistaken. I got help with creating an user by the way. That took some time but in the end it worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I received a message from their support team
Today I received a message from their support team that said that they do their best to make the game accessible, but their older technology platform can make it challenging. They also passed on my feedback about the unlabeled options in a few of the heads up displays for some areas.
