If you experience a bug in Apple Beta Software, the most important thing you can do is to file a report in Feedback Assistant. Please do not assume that Apple is already aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference; your report may provide crucial information, and submitting bug reports directly to Apple helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority Apple is likely to give to fixing the bug.
If you are using beta software, please use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you are using a public release, this blog post explains how to report the issue and what information to include.
In 2025, AppleVis launched the Community Bug Reporting Program with the goal of improving the quality and quantity of information we share with the community about bugs in Apple software releases. If you would like to contribute to this effort, please submit your reports via our Community Bug Report Form.

Safari Bookmarks Bug: Folder Names and Labels Missing on iOS 26
I'm experiencing this exact bug on iOS 26.1 beta with VoiceOver and it makes the Bookmarks completely inaccessible.
Here are my specific steps and the issue:
1.
I go into Bookmarks (via the "More" button).
2.
I swipe to a folder (Heading) like my Favorites. VoiceOver does not read the folder's name; it only reads the number of items inside (e.g., "2").
3.
When I double-tap on that numerical, the individual bookmarks are displayed, but they are announced as unlabeled "Button" elements.
The issue isn't just about the folder name missing; once inside the folder, the actual saved links are not labeled either.
Re: Bookmarks
Looks like they broke the bookmarks in Safari with this beta. Because there's no issues on iOS 26.0. Even my old iPhone SE 2020 back up device has no issues with Safari bookmarks, again on iOS 26.0.
Re: Bookmarks
yes! please report it!
A very strange new minor bug
Ok just installed public beta 2 for iOS26.1 and now in the native weather app VO does something very odd. If you swipe as normal VO announces the hourly forecast as normal. However, before this update keep swiping and VO then gets to the next 10 days. Now for me it circles round and reads the hourly times again for 3 times. On the fourth go round it finally continues into the daily forecasts. Very odd.
Why, oh why?
Is it always the weather app that gets gimped during beta cycles and system updates? ☹️
Ok personal issues
First, Brian oddly I had the exact thought regarding the weather app. Always seems to take the brunt poor thing. Anyway, For me iPhone 15 pro PB2 has not fixed Notifications cutting out on the locked screen. Face Id is still not giving any indication it is working and Still can only increase VO speech rate by 5% incraments. So basically, nothing has changed at all apart from the weather app so getting worse lol.
Face ID sountd
No issues with it, however I have turn on face ID for email. The normal sound that face ID does, it does not do so for it. The only way I can tell face ID works if open the mail app. This was no issue on 18.6.1.
Accessibility shortcut
@Holger exactly no sound so no way of telling face id is working. However, for info after the update today the accessibility shortcut turns itself off. Tried to turn VO off and it wouldn't work with the tripple click. Checked in settings and found accessibility shortcut had turned off. Had to reassign VO. Works as expected again now.
letters not pronouncing by VO in typing
Found something interesting that affected my 16 pro max and iOS 26.01. On setting, accessibility, keyboard and typing and typing feedback. it was on for letters, pronouncing letters and word. Turn them off. I am no longer having issues with VO not pronouncing letters and is fast and responsive. Suggest people check their settings. iOS 26 turn some things on and others off. Nuts. Long live cats.
Re: Accessibility shortcut
Didn't this very thing happen with iOS 18.0? I swear that's what happened to me, updating from iOS 17.X to iOS 18.0.
Re: letters not pronouncing by VO in typing
Yeah, that is nuts.
Long live apple flavored cats.
Brian
Yes, it is nuts. Also the notification for news got turn off several times, unless Bella did it from heaven. Now I just wish apple fix notification before the 2030year. Long live cats.
Bug in iOS 26.1 beta 2 in Control Center
Hi. I installed iOS 26.1 beta 2, and there's a bug in the Control Center. When I double-tap on "More Controls," the Control Center disappears. I have reported this through feedback. Please test it yourselves, and if you find an issue, report it.
To Holger
A lot was fixed in the latest iOS release but the bug with typing is still there. Sometimes double-tapping on a letter does not confirm it with voiceover. So you have to read it back to be sure everything is correct.

Check under setting, accessibility, keyboard and typing, typing feedback, see if letters, pronouncing letters and words are off. If some are on, turn it off. This help me.

Forgot to say, Long live cats.
Thank you!
Thanks, Holger. I'll check the settings.
