Hello,
After updating to iOS 26, I've noticed some issues with the "Contacts" and "Phone" apps. And they were not fixed after updating to iOS 26.0.1. Here are the found issues:
1. If the dark theme is used, the page with a contact's details in the "Contacts" app or the one with a call's details (from call history) use (or at least partially) a light theme instead of the set dark one. That makes it hard to see the details in those two pages.
2. In a call details page (Phone -> History -> details page for a call), exploring the page's elements with VoiceOver while sliding a finger over the elements seems not to work. Using the left/right swipe gestures works, but the "explore by touch" feature should work as well and it does not.
So, is there a way for me to report those issues to Apple? If so - how?
Thanks in advance.

Whole system is a mess
Honestly I think that the whole iOS 26 accessibility experience is a total train wreck, making those pretty minor issues. I mean have you tried to buy something from the App Store recently? It feels like nobody at Apple actually tried to ensure that it actually made sense, because all the visual content creates overlapping accessibility elements even when blocked from view, and the OCR just goes crazy reading everything likely because Apple is using lots of transparencies that the content recognizer can't really understand since it just processes flat screenshots without any semantic information.

Makes me wander if they have blind people or their tech using the beta with VO. I recall they have a person who I think is also blind part of the beta, Sarah and the person did a podcast several years ago with Thomas. Long live cats.
2023
The launch of iOS 17.0 was not much better. I remember it took a number of patches to get it to a decent level of usability and accessibility. Hopefully Apple can get iOS 26 up and running the way it is, supposed, to be. 🙁

The whole Kat thing is getting a little rundown. I don’t mind a little whimsy once in a while, but not for every single post. You of course can do whatever you want. But it’s getting to a place where I don’t wanna read any of your posts anymore. Before you were hyper focused on how Apple doesn’t care about anything or anyone. And now it’s all about cats every post. Maybe it’s OK to just have a single thought and let it stand on its own.
How to contact Apple
The most basic way to contact Apple is to email them through [email protected].
Similarly, you can go to apple.com/feedbackand contact them that way. There’s also a dedicated apple accessibility phone number that I don’t know off the top of my head, but it is something that you can very easily search for. You can talk to a live agent about these issues and they will take the feedback for you and submit it.

With respect skip and you do not deal with it. Thanks.
Thank you
To Ash Rein - thanks for the useful information. I'll write to Apple about the mentioned issues.
Holger Fiallo
Believe me I I do skip.
Feedback Assistant
For specific issues, like the ones mentioned in your post, you can report them to Apple using Feedback Assistant, also known as Apple Feedback. If your device is set up to receive beta updates, the app should appear on your Home Screen, or you can access it from the shipping version of iOS by typing "Applefeedback://" without the quotes, into a web browser.

Spotlight also works
Typing Feedback Assistant in Spotlight also works to bring up the hidden application, plus there's also the web version but last time I used that it wasn't very accessible. I kinda forgot to mention this in my previous post so I'm doing it now.
