Two New VoiceOver Issues

Hi,

I have noticed two bugs for VoiceOver in MacOS 26.0.1. I have already reported this to Apple using the feedback website (https://www.apple.com/feedback), but would encourage anyone reading this to see if they experience the same issues and independently report it to Apple as well if so. In addition, I would like to hear any comments from you if you are experiencing these and any work arounds you may have found. The two issues are as follows:

1) Under the text section of the verbosity settings, I have “When text attributes change” set to “Play tone,” which it does, however, it also then plays a tone if I move the cursor incrementally through words or characters even if no text attributes change (which shouldn’t be happening).

2) If I press the Globe key (Fn) to open the emoji chooser dialog, I can type a search string, but when I navigate to and enter the character table for the search results, the VO+(arrow keys) do not navigate the table. As best I can tell, the VO cursor enters the text item of the first emoji right away, thereby inhibiting further table navigation. If I go back out of the table and re-enter it, it just goes back into the the first emoji text item automatically and I can’t navigate to the next one.

I don't know about the first one but I can confirm the second one. The work around that I'm using is I stop interacting two times with VO+Shift+Up Arrow for the emogies. I hope they'll fix it soon.
