upgrading my phone soon

If the 16 is great be it pro or regular, the 17 is much better. Make sure your setting for battery are set up for saving energy. Many post for it were posted here. Long live cats.

If I were to stay with iOS I would wait for the 17E, but that's me. 😇

I have an iPhone 15 and I love it. I’m not sure if that’s the greatest answer at the moment but I did get my phone brand new in August of this year so that could be why. I have the 512 gig variant in pink. It’s a great phone. I haven’t seen an iPhone 17, but I hope you enjoy it when you get it. I was sad that none of the newer phones are coming in pink or even product red. My secondary device is my product red 256 gig variant of the iPhone SE third generation. I kept it so I could have a second device for my music and emails and things like that so wouldn’t get interrupted a phone call notifications. Besides these phones are no longer in production but still continue to get software updates so I kept it. It’s basically an iPod. I never had a chance to get an iPod so this was the next best thing. Hope you enjoy your new phone.

The closest thing we get to Product Red would be the Cosmic Orange of the iPhone 17 Pro models. I'm not sure how I feel about that color, as it just reminds me of Cheetos...

I would wait till next year. It’s a great phone. A real massive changes are coming. At this point, just give it a few months.

There wouldn't be significant differences between 2 generations of phones, at least in my opinion. Apple Intelligence is barely worth it, I'm not sure if there'd be a significant difference in battery (I couldn't notice much of a difference when I upgraded from my 12 Pro to my 16) and perhaps speakers miiiiight be better. I'd honestly suggest going to a tech store or an Apple Store and testing the speakers out yourself.

I have the 16 E. I’d go 17 Pro or Pro Max. If I don’t upgrade before the 18, I’ll go 17 Pro Max. There are a few reasons for this:

4. It will get all new features
5. Better camera
6. More powerful chip & more RAM
7. Significantly better display
8. Camera system — much more flexibility & quality
9. Longer battery life & better charging

The battery is a beast for the pro max. The 18 suppose to be better if you believe that. Next iOS will focus on bugs and performance. Long live cats.

For my particular use case, I would never need any kind of pro phone. I don’t use the camera enough to even worry about like super great pictures or anything. Also, it’s just way too big. I have small hands. I would never get anything more than a basic model phone. But then again that’s just me. I mean, people have to do ultimately whatever works for them. Same as nobody can tell anybody when to update or anything like that. You’re such an individual choice. I said earlier on this thread I have an iPhone 15. I love that the orange one of the color of Cheetos. That’s awesome. Love Cheetos. But they didn’t put it face model phone in Orange. But it’s all good. I’m happy with the devices I have now. I’ll probably keep them as long as his life left in them. I feel like it’s going to take me a long time to get used to an action button instead of a mute switch. I really don’t want that, but Apple isn’t going to give my choice. They took it away just like they took away the home button. There was also the other reason of an iPhone 15.
