watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

Hello all:
i purchased an appple watch series 4, and i need to know how can i check the time without listening to the voice over,
i read on chat gpt how to do this, and i click with 1 finger double tab, but nothing happened, i clicked wiht 2 fingers but with no luck also,
my watch is in silent mode, but what am missing here?

also, if i need to get a reminder or alarm after 40 mintes from now, but i do not want to enter stop watch, and choose the time etc, this is a concert and i do not want to make all these steps in front of audience,
is there a setting that i can toggle that is preconfigured to do this?
THanks in advance.

Like the subject said, do the above gesture and your watch will vibrate the time, but this might take a few tries to get the hang of actually understanding the time with the vibrations

No, twice with one finger also works. Its twice with one finger for hours and minutes, and tap 3 times with one finger will only give you minutes.

At least, I've found it to be a bit hit and miss in my 7 years with the apple watch. It does work, but occasionally the gesture doesn't register properly and the watch will say the time. Very annoying.

It works well for me even with iOS 26.2. Will get the 11 after Christmas hoping it continues. Long live cats.

There's a setting you can turn off that should stop you from the watch also speaking when hactic time comes on.

I love braille watches for only this reason, i do not want the person to fiel that am trying to know the time while setting with him, this is why i need an accurate way to know the time without voice over at all.

I read it, but even the voice over itself did not tern on the touch screen, also, i moved my finger here and there without any feedback

BrailleWatch's haptic feedback works both with and without VoiceOver. Because you described that the standard watch haptic watch function is not working either, I suspect now that on your watch haptic is turned off or doesn't work. Make sure that Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Haptic Alerts = On

THey are working while navigation inside my watch and so on, but here inside your app, no

Inside BrailleWatch, when you tap into the center of the screen and you move from the center to upward left and rotating around slowly, then you should be able to get one or more haptic tics for the hour tens.
Upper left is the hour tens braille cell, upper right the hour ones, lower left the minutes tens, lower right the minutes one braille cell.
When you meet a braille point sliding with your finger, then you get a soft haptic tic.
The braille dots of each cell only represent the upper two lines, because numbers only need the upper 4 braille points of a cell.
If you still do not get any feedback and also the standard watch does not then there must be something general wrong.

Well had a big thick blanket and my hads were inside and just tap on my rist and the haptic work without VO talking. No issues. 26.2 and watch 9.

Am trying to enable the direct touch, but can not find it inside the VO router, do not know why,
but i can not add or remove somethings from the VO router, from the watch app on ios, or the settings inside the watch itself.
any ideas?
