When I type using the on screen keyboard, I either get broken letter and number sounds or muffled sounds. This only began with IOS 26. I am using an Iphone 16E.
I have shut down my phone and restarted it several times, no change. I can't find any settings which might cause this behavior. It is very annoying.

Known issue
This was a known issue. However, I thought it was sorted. Seem to recall a few people still have this but for most it is fixed. Yet again one of these odd bugs that not everyone has. Certainly by 26.2 this was fixed for me.

Have you tried resetting the VoiceOver settings? Sometimes I can fix some weird stuff. Or just could be a bug that unfortunately you still have. Just out of curiosity, it doesn’t make any difference what you’re using what has happens? Sometimes changing a voice can change the issues too.
