Meta Glasses, what do people think

Hi,
I met someone with the meta Rayband smart glasses the other day. She really likes them, she is low vision. I really want a pair of these for Christmas, but I want to know if anyone who is totally blind has them, if so, what do you all think? Are they worth it? I know envision has smart glasses, solo has glasses coming out, but they all cost more, a lot more, out of budget more... :) Are the Meta rayband glasses any good or not?

So that's something I would love to see, having Gemini have Be My Eyes level access, but the hack in the youtube video above only pipes your microphone from the glasses, and Gemini's reply back through the headphones, but no glasses camera access, so no gemini live video through the glasses. That would be absolutely sweet. The other open source app also discussed here very well might be able to do full on gemini through the glasses, but I do worry about how any kind of hacks like that might kill battery life and also where else my data might end up. I'm somewhat okay with companies like Meta or Google having my data, but slightly less okay with my data ending up in the hands of the CCP potentially, so I'll probably be staying away from that app. Also, it's not on the Play store. I have installed stuff that wasn't on the play store before, but it's not something I make a habit of.

Hi guys.
So having issues with my meta glasses.
Is anyone able to guide me on how to factory reset the glasses because the instructions in the meta AI app are quite visual.
Thing is I'm having the issue where an it is saying an error has occured every time I try to ask meta ai to describe what's in front of me or look and commands as well.
Also thing is I can't switch to the glasses camera on a whatsapp video call with Aira.
Whenever I try and double press the capture button it says that camera unavailable.
Can anyone please help?
