I would like to present my project Sonarpad, which is now also available on iOS and Android.
After creating Sonarpad for Windows and Mac, which you can find on the website https://sonarpad.com, I have finally brought my ideas to the mobile world too. These ideas have already had very good success.
At the moment, the iOS version is still in beta, but it has already been tested by many Italian testers. For this reason, I am happy to share it with you too.
Sonarpad is a light app, but it has many features. You can read documents and books, and also edit them. You can read news, subscribe to podcasts and listen to them, with an automatic bookmark that starts again from the point where you stopped.
You can also check movies that are now in cinemas or coming soon, and listen to the trailer. Sonarpad also has route search, weather, calendar, and a file converter, which can convert audio and video files into different formats.
By default, the app divides these icons into categories, so everything is more organized and easier to find.
You can also share any file, document or media file with Sonarpad and play it inside the app.
The Sonarpad player lets you go forward and backward during playback. You can also choose how much time to skip. By default, it skips one minute. For video files, you can also turn the video on or off.
I know that, at first, it may seem like many features for one app. But this was exactly the idea of Sonarpad: to bring many features together in an accessible and simple app.
Sonarpad for Windows and Mac has already been downloaded all over the world.
At the moment, Sonarpad Mobile is translated into Italian, English, French and Spanish. More languages will be added in the future, depending on users’ requests.
For example, Sonarpad for Windows has also been translated into Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, Czech, Chinese, Hindi, and other languages.

There once was such an app that gathered similar functions in one place, but then it was removed from the App Store, so this one will be great. I've not yet tested it, but I may come back here and give feedback once I do. It's also good that Sonarpad appears to have been designed with accessibility in mind, and we can use it on Windows and MacOS as well.

This app is only in Italian. Can you please translate it so it works in English?

Hi, the app is already translated into English, but maybe it cannot detect the language of your device.
You should look for the Italian word “Impostazioni”. There you will find “Lingua”, and then you can choose English.
New version
I have sent a new version of the app. It will be available soon.
This version detects the iPhone language better, so this problem should not happen anymore on some iPhones.
I will let you know when the new version is uploaded. Then you should uninstall the old version and install the new one.

In this way, the problem where the app appears in Italian even if your iPhone or iPad is set to English or another language should no longer happen.

Looking for text in documents?

I would suggest, when opening a document, the option to search for texts, if that is possible.

This is a very good idea, and it will be added to Sonarpad very soon.
For now, I suggest you try to edit the paragraphs. You only need to double tap on the paragraph you want to edit. You can also split paragraphs by pressing Enter.
Very often, for example, when you import books, some lines are joined together. In this way, you can split them and then save the book as you want. Of course, you can also correct any typing mistakes in the books.
There is also a slider that lets you move forward and backward in the document, and you can also add a bookmark.
Very promising
I am so impressed by your all-in-one app. Having documents, RSS, radio, media conversion, and everything else in one place is just awesome. I completely understand that it is currently in beta, but I wanted to share a few areas where things could be improved.
The main thing for me is the RSS reader. Right now, it is pretty difficult to add new RSS feeds manually. Also, the articles in the recommended news list seem outdated, and I could not find a refresh button to update them. It would also be great if you could improve how the app parses full articles, because a lot of the content is currently getting truncated.
For the radio feature, it is great that we can browse stations by language, but since this app includes radio from all around the world, it would be amazing to also have an option to browse stations by country.
Lastly, for the media converter, could you please add more options for WAV files, like being able to select the bit depth, such as 16-bit?

About adding RSS feeds, you need to enter the title and the RSS URL. But if you do not know the URL, you can also write some keywords, and the app will create an RSS feed using Google News.

Thank you for considering my feedback. Yes, I did exactly that. I entered the feed name and the URL into their respective fields and clicked on add RSS, but the feed just did not get added to the list.
