Description of App
Join conversations in voice. Human connection is more than reading text and viewing photos. Interacting through voice is how to connect publicly with a community and privately through direct messaging. Welcome to Vorail AI, the global blind and low-vision community.
Most people meet by sight. We believe there's a better way. On Vorail AI you meet others through their voices, their questions, and what they bring to a conversation. Not through pictures. The real beauty of a person comes through when you simply listen.
Ask a question, answer someone else's, or start a private conversation. Everything happens in real voices, yours and theirs. Come hear what you've been missing.
Experiencing vision loss, or new to blindness? Speak with someone who has been there. Vorail offers 24/7 peer-to-peer support. Being blind is not the end of the world. There is a place for you here.

more money for the same shitty app?
I don't think so. It's bad enough he just wants to be selfish and not listen to any feedback we're gunna give the dev and thus, doing whatever, he wants to do just for him and him alone. Until he starts treating his user bass with respect and not be a prick he ain't gettin' a dime from me. Plus, There's another app that does the same thing and guess what, you can delete your content and it's free...
Difference between this and a normal version
Wait, so whats the difference between this and the normal version? I can't seem to figure it out.
Are we just slapping the term AI on everything now?
What does this app have to do with AI? Are there features the description leaves out, or did they just add it to the app's name as a meaningless buzzword?
VoRail AI
There actually are AI features. This is not just slapping the label of AI to an already existing app. As for Tom R just making money for himself, that accusation is totally unfounded. At the price of $4.99 a month for VoRail, there's no way he has been making money hand over fist as some people believe. VoRail AI, not the name of the two apps for comparison, will cost $9.99 for new subscribers. Those who have stuck with the app for roughly 10 years of so can still subscribe for the $4.99 a month as appreciation of app loyalty. VoRail AI is still in the development. I think the current version is version 8. Don't knock it until you give it a fair chance. Harsh criticisms such as what I've seen so far are unfair unless you've downloaded it and tried it.
To the previous poster
I meant no disrespect my good man, but until he starts showing respect to his user base with regarding feedback and what they wanna see and not all about him, my respect for this app and any other thing he creates is quite frankly, out the window. I'd like to believe that he'll now start listening to users now that this new thing is out, but my hopes are well below zero at this point. We've tried time and time again submitting feedback regarding the regular version and I've heard time and time again, ever since he moved to subscription he hasn't listened to a single soul. But that's going off of what people told me both on and off the app. He wants to own all your content but not giving you the option to delete when, newsflash, every other social media platform has the option to delete your content as it's yours. Not who ever maintains the app, yours. This can be considered, illegal! I've heard he was not going to ever make deleting your posts an option in the regular version and I doubt it's in this version as well!
Ooph that's no good
Yeah I agree with the previous poster here.
I never tried vorail, nor this one of course.
But the fact that you can't delete your own stuff is a bit unreasonable.
It makes me question what is the dev of the app doing with the things you post, if you are not allowed to delete it?
Yeah that whole thing just sounds suss.
re: Ooph that's no good
I gave the regular app a one star review just because I found out there was never going to be an option to delete your own posts. That not only screams illegal but it screams suss as shit. I indeed recall asking a question on the regular version back when if there was ever going to be an option to delete your own content as it is the year of the modern age and a shit ton of people said the same thing. Tom, R, will not, nor does he feel it's needed to implement such an option. Kay, not that hard to code BTW and two, ya just made me question what the hell you're doing with our content that you so badly do not wanna put in a delete option. As soon as I found that out, I unsubscribed and gave that app a one star for dishonesty and scam and I will never trust that dev ever, again!
ingo deletion
Here's why we cannot delete our posts: Scenario: You really chew someone out. You insult and belittle some on a regular basis mercilessly. Three months later, someone jumps down your throat for having done so a while back. You go back into your profile and delete the posts you had blasted that person ablut. Now, in your defense, you ask "What are you talking about? I would never do such a thing. Proove that I said that stuff. Go back into my profile, find the flaming posts, and put some of them here for all to see." If you cannot delete your posts, you would be nailed. That's a good reason for not being allowed to monkey with past performance. Another reason is that, when we started using VoRail, we signed an agreement that states that we cannot delete our posts. So, we're stuck with our decision. There's no reason to bad mouth the app or developer without a valid reason. We all can voice our opinions, but do we have to be nasty about it?
@Charles
With all due respect, that argument doesn't really hold much water in my book. Yes, you may have signed an agreement that states that you cannot delete your posts. But that's not the issue. Yes, it's true that allowing for the deletion of posts could cause some issues. But there should always, always be an option and/or mechanism for doing so, though not so people can do what they wand and just nuke everything they did out of the blue. It's about privacy and legality, among other things. I Believe that in the EU, at least, the GDPR mandates that users must be able to both request copies of their data, and also be able to delete that data if they so choose to do so. I'm unsure if this is as common here in the USA or other countries, but it's still a thing, and in my opinion, no matter where you are in the world, it should always be an option. That is all I will say on the matter. Thank you, and good day.

Today people use insult to get their point across. It is not necessary, if they have a logical argumen, it should be enough. Is the time we live in now. Before people could disagree and still show respect, people do not think when typing. Keep cool all it is hot specially in Chicago.
A Lesson on Data, Hmm?
Here;
Have a list of The 2026 US State Privacy Laws: Every Data Removal Right by State
For y'all peoples in the UK/EU, I haven't forgotten you...
This Information for individuals - European Commission page should hopefully do the job.
And with that, may Vorail, be Vorail.
@charles
Sorry but that argument is invalid. While I do get your point in a sense, That's not the point! I do not care if proof is needed or not. Say for example said person blasts someone on a platform such as youtube okay, said person reports it, person that blasted someone still has the opportunity to delete but oh look, it's the internet nowadays and people do take screanshots or record for proof. There's a way around that if people really wanted that proof even if the person who have done the damage just so happens to delete the post so keeping people's post with out options to delete is no excuse here. I do not care if mods need proof, deletion indeed should be an option. And no, I'm not bad mouthing the dev, I'm calling out lack of honesty, something of which the dev very much has. If this is your way of defending for us to not have deletion of our data as an option, shame on you. This is about Privacy! It's one of the main reasons why I left! The dev wants control of our data with out us being able to delete? I'm out! Every single social media company has some sort of way to let us delete our own content so again, that argument don't hold water at all!
