Hi all,
Are there any accessible iOS apps I could use for recording phone calls? I'd prefer it to be either very low cost or even better free because I probably won't need to use it much, but I have something coming up in the next week or 2 that I need such an app for.
Thanks.

You do not need an app
IOS already comes with a call recording feature. You just need to make sure it is enabled.
1. Make sure that you are on iOS 18.1 or later.
2. Open the phone app and make a call. If you are on iOS, you will see a "Start Call Recording" button in the top-left corner. If you are on iOS 26, you will find it under the More button.
3. To make sure it is enabled, open the iPhone Settings app. Scroll down to Apps, then Phone. Make sure that call recording is enabled, and then you can try the steps above to record a phone call.
4. When you start the recording, you will hear a 3-2-1 countdown, and then there will be a voice that will broadcast to you and the other person on the phone call that it is being recorded.
It is completely free of charge.
thanks
Thanks, I will try this before I actually need it and make sure it works.
How do I save the recording once it's made and where is it saved to? Btw I have an iPhone 16E running iOS 26.6 if that matters.
it will be saved to the Notes app
after the call recording is finished, you will see a folder in the Notes app for call recordings.

i have used said feature to experiment with and like it :)
Some fun
I have a friend who has a Pixel 9 Pro, while I have a 2022 iPhone SE. We have used our devices call recording features during one of our phone calls, and then sent one another the recording.
All in the spirit of good fun and to compare quality and ease of use. 😇
perfect
Sounds like just what I'm looking for, and at the right price too since aside from the upcoming time that I'll need it I may or may not need it again.
Could I move the recording elsewhere, say to my laptop? The time that I'll need to record a phone call soon is after my mom has surgery and I'll need to record the call when a friend lets me know when the surgery is over, but later the same day other friends will be calling me for updates and when they do I'm going to either want to play the recording for them, or maybe just give them the info but in that case I wouldn't want to forget to tell them something that may be important.
You can, depending on device
If you are on Mac, it should automatically appear in the Notes app there as well. Of course you can move it to a different directory if you want.
If you're on PC, you can either create a share drive, and move it that way, or if you use OneDrive, you can Put it in your OneDrive app on iOS, and it will show up in OneDrive for PC. You can then move it to another directory on your computer.
Alternatively, if you have one of the newer iPhone, 15 or later using USB-C, (I believe) you can get a USB-C thumb drive, put the recording on that, then just transfer it to your computer.
Best of luck. 😊
