Turn VoiceOver off before the game starts. Swipe left or right on the game area to move your aim. A tone tells you where you are pointing — lower for left, higher for right. Each enemy plays its own tone from its position. Align your aim tone with an enemy tone, then double tap with one finger to fire. Double tap with two fingers to launch a screen-clearing bomb — you earn one every 300 points. Turn VoiceOver back on when you die or reach an ending.
To play the game off-line, open the link below to load the page first, double tap on share once the page is loaded, double tap on view more and then double tap on add to home screen. Before saving, make sure to turn on open as web app, then save. The game will now appear as a new app on your home screen. The game can be played at the link below.

This is great!
Space invaders games are a favourite genre of mine, and I love it. I've played 3 games thus far, my highest score being 500.

Personally, I do much better when I use my PS4 controller.
Good game
a lot of fun though will try on computer or with a keyboard because swiping so far i've kinda sucked at it haha, though also need more practice to be fair. Good game though.
The only suggestion I would make is if possibly voiceover’s direct touch or something could be implemented to so that You don’t have to be turning on and off voiceover.

As soon as I regain credits, I will try to implement direct touch. As things stand right now, you can still leave VoiceOver on when playing with a keyboard or controller, but I will try to implement it anyway.
Update regarding direct touch.
I've been at it for a few days now, and all I managed to achieve is a big minus sign on my credits, so I ultimately decided against it. I think it works well enough anyway, and you can still leave VoiceOver on when using a keyboard or controller as I said. For now, I consider it a finished project.
supprisingly addictive
This is surprisingly addictive. Just wondering if you are able to use the screen clearing bomb on Windows? If so, how? On windows space and enter shoot, while left and right move you around the screen.
the cheat takes the fun out of the game
If I were you, I’d remove the cheat that automatically targets the nearest enemy. Once you unlock it in Endless Mode, it takes a lot of the fun out of the game because you can basically just sit there and rack up points.
If you’re going to keep the cheat, I’d suggest putting some sort of limit on it so it can’t be abused indefinitely.
Otherwise, it’s a fun little game.

There's something about the 8 bit sounds that make this thing addictive.
I managed to clock the thing on the second attempt.
I'd probably try and make it a bit harder to play, especially the endless mode. I got bored after level 22, plus the auto targeting cheat makes it super easy.
That's why I suggested to put some sort of cap on the auto targeting cheat.
Make it some sort of powerup that runs out or something, otherwise, it's just going to get abused.
Cheats are optional
It is kind of a tribute to retro gaming, and you don't compete with other online players anyway. In fact, keyboard and controllers makes the whole thing a lot easier, and I am yet to finish the mission mode using voiceover alone. With VoiceOver gestures, I can only make it to level 5 at best.
