Quiet Grind is an idle RPG for people with lives. Train 30 skills, battle through five adventure zones, and keep making progress — even when you're not playing.

Mine ore, chop wood, catch fish, smith gear, steep and enchant. Every skill has its own tools, recipes and mastery track, and they feed each other: what you gather becomes what you craft, and what you craft makes you stronger.

Accessibility Comments

Fully designed with voiceover in mind, everything is %100 accessible, and easy to use.
Headings, easy data within swipes, use of a handy number box to add in information and lots of informative text rather than crazy long tables, plus nice sounds and music as well.

I did sometimes have to flick around to find the tutorial messages at the beginning, but that's not really a major issue, especially since even without the tutorial the game is very self-explanatory anyway.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

Lots of fun, with relaxing music, a lot of unique skills and items such as astronomy, sailing and taming of pets.

Plus, though this game is intended to be something of an idle grind (hence the name), there are still surprises to find, from extra treasure troves whilst mining or woodcutting, to occasionally creating high value sail items whilst tanning leather or smithing.

With daily and weekly quests, as well as bosses to fight and many skills to raise, though the game is idle, there's always something new to do.

The demo version can be played as long as you like, but contains only some of the skills and the first two adventure zones, so I would highly recommend picking up the full version if you enjoy the game.

What do you do with coins?

You can buy gear and tools with gems, but what are coins for?

Look for the tab that contains the shop.
Once you open it look for market.
There you will find the trader and that how you will use your coins.
You get to buy the goods from the trader.

Fun game

This is actually fun. It gives me Idle Iktah vibes, and has me really excited to play it! I've only played the demo, so far, and hope to be able to grab the full version.
There definitely looks like there's a lot that can be expanded on, but right now, really cool game!

Coins and homes

You can also use coins to buy xtorage slogts. I know you can build shelter and other home types but not sure where that is in game.

Can gear only be crafted at the first tier?

In other words, to make a tier 1 hood, for example, I have to craft 10 tier 0s and upgrade. Then to make a tier 2, I have to have 100 tier 1s... etc? If that's correct, then that really is grinding. phew.

Also, what do you do with the special seeds and threads and stuff you find?
