I love the easy dropbox
I love the easy dropbox integration. You just open a file from your dropbox, edit it, and it is automatically saved in the original dropbox location. The only thing I've found to be difficult is that pressing backspace sometimes announces random characters, and not the ones you're actually backspacing. Does anyone know why this is or how to fix it? Over all, though, this is a great and easy to use app.
Spellcheck?
Does anyone know how to use spellcheck in this app? I am using word on my iPad with a Braille Edge RFB. I have tried selecting the misspelled word (using the rotor) but no menu pops up with "Replace" as an option. in fact, no menu pops up at all. A non-VO user would hold their finger on the word and a menu of selected spellings would appear. But, I have not been able to access this menu like I can in Pages. I even wondered if there was a third-party keyboard that has spellcheck built in and I could access the suggested spellings on the on-screen keyboard using the sh-chord. Word predictions in iOS 8 keyboard are limited when it comes to fixing misspelled words. I like this app, but I need spellcheck. Any ideas?
Huh?
I didn't realize one needed a Microsoft account to ghet this app going. When I fired the app up, I couldn't discern how to do anything even though the screen appeared fully labeled. I suspect this is one of those "Clear Only If Known" situations.
a tip
double tap on the feature and then type or dictate your text. the formatting should be applied.
Hope this is helpful.
Version 1.5
It is always a good thing when they mention VoiceOver improvements!
What's New in Version 1.5
• First month free: get your first month free when you sign up for an Office 365 subscription.
• Improved accessibility: Better support for reading and editing using VoiceOver.
Tables
Is anyone able to fill in cells in a table while VoiceOver is enabled? I can't figure out how to edit any cell other than the upper left corner cell. No problem when VO is turned off, but impossible with VO turned on, an near as I can tell.
scrolling in Microsoft Word with a bluetooth keyboard
Hi
When I use Microsoft Word for iOS with a Bluetooth keyboard, I can't scroll through and edit a document past the first screen. I can edit the content on the first screen. I do this by double tapping the text, and then turning ff quick nav, and arrowing around and editing. However I can't then scroll the screen, and have the Bluetooth keyboard track where Voiceover is at. If I use the three finger scroll gesture, or use quick nav and use option up or down arrow, that will scroll the screen. But the keyboard then can't b used to arrow around the text, and once you start arrowing, the cursor returns you to the first screen.
Hope this is making sense! Has anyone had any success using a Bluetooth keyboard to edit long documents using word for iOS?

Paid App
Just a heads-up to folks that this (at least now) appears to be a paid app ($6 per month) after a free 1-month trial.
Thanks for that information…
Thanks for that information however, does this apply to people who already have office 365 subscriptions or not? Just curious really.
Cheers
Yes, I was slightly mistaken
So, yeah. It appears that the “paid after a month” thing applies only to those who don’t yet have a Microsoft 360 account. Otherwise, the app appears to be free.
Editing Documents Very Inaccessible
So, after downloading this app, I tried editing a document I had originally created on my PC and uploaded to OneDrive. I could not browse by character, by word or by line. VoiceOver’s reading of any of this was very inconsistent.
