Hello good people. I was hoping someone could tell me how to shuffle an entire artist in Apple Music. It's easy on the iPhone, but for the life of me, I can't figure it out on my Mac. Also, is it the same on a Windows machine? Thanks.
In Windows 7, select the artist you wish to shuffle. Start playing a song. Then tab forward to where you see a button that will either say Shuffle or Do Not Shuffle. If the Shuffel button is showing then iTunes will not Shuffle. If the Do Not Shuffle button is showing then iTunes will shuffle. It's counter-intuitive but I have toggled this back and forth and the results are consistent for me.
Thanks for the explanation. However, my thing is once I search for and find an artist in Apple Music, do I click on any song and then turn on shuffle? If I do that, will it then shuffle that whole artist's catalog or am I missing a step? Sorry if I'm being dense.
Got it working. Thanks again for your help. I do have one more little question. I figured out how to set a song to loved. How do you dislike a song? Thanks.
Well, I know that when I'm using the iPhone for Apple Music, when you double tap the love button, I see play more like this or play less like this buttons. In regard to using it in iTunes, unfortunately I haven't seen how to do that. As to actually have Apple Music never play a song again, I haven't seen that one.
I'm glad that the shuffle thing is working for you. You can also shuffle your entire iTunes library on the PC in a similar manner. Just select All Artists and then All Albums. Press play on any song and then select the Shuffle button. You will be surprised at what pops up. This is a very cool way to utilize the iTunes library.
