iOS 9.2 has been released, have you guys downloaded the latest iOS 9.2 on your iPhone or iPad? I am wondering should I update my iPad Air and iPhone 6 to iOS 9.2 now.
Hi,
Even if there are no improvements to VO, it's still a great idea to update. Security fixes and other improvements are added as well, so yeah, I've updated to 9.2 and it's working fine on my side
Hello, I have installed iOS 9.2 on both my iPhone 6s and my first GEN iPad mini, and everything is running well so far. There were not any accessibility fixes mentioned in the brief software update description, but if you select the learn more button then you would see the whole list of changes with this update, and there are quite a few voiceover ones. There was an article posted on here yesterday detailing the fixes actually.
There was a good analysis posted n Applevis yesterday. Check it out and then make your decision as to whether or not to upgrade. It does list the Voice-Over bug fixes and enhancements. No new bugs had been found at the time of the writing of the article. I can say that the ability to text when using Dice World has not been resolved. Other than that, so far, I like the update.
I would encourage everyone to definitely upgrade if possible. I'm currently not having a problem text chatting while using Dice world. I did before, but oddly enough, rebooting my phone seemed to fix the problem. The upgrade went flawlessly, so I'd encourage everyone to upgrade, especially if you use a lot of Bluetooth devices. A bug was fixed with Bluetooth in this release and I'm very glad that was addressed.
Some advice is to upgrade on a Friday, that way you can deal with major bugs, but this seems to be a stable update! Way to go Apple!!! I just wanted to throw that out their.
I've never heard about this whole updating on a Friday thing. When you update is when you update. If apple wanted everyone to update on Fridays, they'd put the updates out on Friday. Also, every iOS device may have issues with an iOS release. Software is not completely bug-free, so you are never going to get something picture perfect. You just have to go with the opinions of others, and take a leap of faith. On my iPhone 6, it works beautifully. No lag, no issues, in fact, it's actually working better than 9.1 did. and the Bluetooth bug where devices would disconnect if VoiceOver was turned off and back on was squashed.
I think people are suggesting to update on a weekend for two reasons.
First, to see if more people post or share their issues with the update.
Second, if the update doesn’t go as planned, they will have the time to work on their issues before the work or school week start.
Those were only suggestions and not a rule. By all means, update your device if you want and when you want.
I just installed iOS 9.1 on my iPad mini 2. When I went to the proactive screen now all my recent contacts are there! In ios 9.0 and later, they're was an unlabeled button.

I have googled iOS 9.2 issues, and there are some articles write about this topic. And some posts provide the possible iOS 9.2 update problems and solutions, I guess that might be helpful to you too.
