Hi all.
I'm encountering a crazy bug with ios 9.2 and wondered if anybody else has ran into this bug.
I am trying to pair a focus 14 with an iphone 6s and I can not see the braille display listed in general, accessibility, voiceOver, Braille. I have blueTooth on and i know it's not my display, I have successfully paired it with the laptop!
Would anybody have any suggestions how to fix this?
Thanks for any feedback!

Solving this bug
To solve this bug, try these things:
1. Make sure that the braille display is toggled on, and that it also supports Apple devices.
2. Make sure VoiceOver is fully on.
3. Make sure that the braille display is no more than 30 feet apart from the Apple device.
Hope this helps!
thanks
I have tried all these things!
I have powered down the device and the phone three times.
I just restored to an earlier backup. I just wanted to give everybody a heads up in case this was a bug.
I have tried pairing it with my ipad and have the same issue!
Good luck to anybody if they can figure this out
pairing limitations
This question may sound odd, but how many devices has the Focus display been paired with in the past? The reason I ask is because The current Bluetooth hardware limits the number of possible Bluetooth pairings to a maximum of 24, according to one person at Freedom Scientific, and 15 according to another. Once this limit is exceeded, at the moment, you have to send it bacvk to FS to have it reset. Is that particular Focus being detected even? This may not be the issue, but it's another possibility.
i can pair it
Hi Scott,
I didn't ever think of this, i paired it successfully to my computer though.
I'm as puzzled as many on this topic.
Another thing may be
Another thing may be that the braille display is paired to two devices at the same time. I once borrowed an iPad Air and connected my Refreshabraille to it, but it did not work. I had to go back to my personal iPad and disconnect the Refreshabraille before using it with a different device.
pairing with other devices
Hi Chris.
Ok, let's cover some basic diagnostics, since you didn't list any of these specifics thus far. Can you pair any new devices now? Also, did this problem with the iDevice not pairing occur before or after you successfully paired with your PC? Is the PC still seeing the Focus 14? I assume you also tried resetting network settings on your phone? Finally, what about pairing with other devices? Can you pair your 6s with anything else like a headset, keyboard, etc?
pairing with other devices
Hi Scott.
I can pair my phone with my bluetooth keyboard just fine. It also can be paired with my JBL charge speaker.
I have turned bluetooth off on the laptop and unpaired with the laptop with the Focus.
I will try resetting network settings again, i have tried this one time!
thanks for your suggestions!
