I'm not new to skype, however I am new to skype on iOS, so I was wondering if someone could tell me if 1, it is possible to see the online contacts only?
And 2, is video messaging accessible? When I try to send a video message, voiceover stops speaking altogether.
I exit back to the home screen and speech returns, when I go back to skype, it goes away again.
Am I doing something wrong?
I thought this thing is suppose to be accessible.
It does seem to be, for the most part at least.
Any help would be appreciated.
PS, I'm using an iPhone 6S using the latest iOS.

yes
Hi,
You can view the online contacts if you go to the contacts tab. Its the second tab from left to right.
Touch the top portion of the screen, a little bit below where the earpiece is, and there are two buttons, a button that lists all contacts, and another button that lists online contacts only.
As for the video thing, I'm not sure. I haven't tried to send video messages so I couldn't answer that question.
thanks, some more questions
Thanks, I'll have to play around with the video messaging when there's someone around who knows what they're doing. Another thing I was unable to find with the mobile app was how to rename contacts and to change your displayname.
I can do it quite easily on windows, just hit f 2 on the contact to give them an alias.
While changing your display name on windows can be a little tricky, you need to click on your display name to change it.
It's easy enough using NVDA.
I'm hoping to eventually replace skype for windows and just use it on the mobile.
Unless, of course there are still things the mobile app can't do.
video messaging
It turns out that using any type of headset, I tested it with the earpods that came with the phone, will let you navigate that screen.
When not using a headset it switches to the phone's speaker for a few seconds before you lose speech altogether.
A minor inconvenience, but it's still usible.
Now all I need to do is work out how to rename contacts if possible and I should be set.
