Hello,
I would like to know how the audio destination setting works in iOS 9.2.3 I am trying to switch my audio destination between my made for iPhone hearing aids and the phone's speakers. The setting appears at random on the rotor and I cannot figure out the pattern. And to compound the problem, it is not even a setting to check in the Voiceover rotor settings. I wish it was available at all times.
Any idea how the iOS decides its appearance?
Thanks,
mani

audio destination
Audio destination appears when you have anything pared with your phone that helps with audio playback, like a bluetooth speaker, or your hearing aids. It only appears when the phone is actively conected to the device. After you change the audio settings away from the device, for some reason, it disapears, even though it says it's still conected. I've had to repair my phone just to get it to work.
Can you tell me more?
Hello Lela,
Wow! This is interesting . What did they repair? And did the audio destination always stay enabling you to switch between the phone speaker and the connected device at whim? Was the repair covered under warranty?
Thanks,
mani
I didn't mean repair. Sorry.
I didn't mean repair. Sorry. I meant I had to reconnect to the device after i changed that setting, if I wanted to have things play on the speaker again.
