Hi, just upgraded Itunes and am struggling to use it now. I used to be able to move through the grid of audiobooks or albums and then go into the context menu with VO Shift m and choose play. Now it seems sometimes there is no context menu available and when it is there, the option "play" is not there. I cannot find a way to just browse to an audiobook and play it. I'm finding the difference in layout compared to whatever version of Itunes I was just using confusing. It seems ok with the music because after I find an album there's a part VO calls "header group" which contains a play button. But this doesn't exist when looking at audiobooks. Any ideas what I'm missing?

You don't need to open the context menu. Find the audio book you want and VO space on it. Then voiceover should read the audio book name then say: album details group. Interact with the group and in the group is a play button.

Right thanks will try that. I now seem to have got it working by pressing just Return when focused on a book in a table but before I do that I need to choose "audiobooks" from what VO calls the playlist table. I didn't investigate that playlist table at first because I thought but I don't want a playlist, but it seems if I choose the audiobooks from the view menu or command 6 or the audiobooks radiobutton; then audiobooks from the playlists table; then focus on a book in the table and press return it plays. At the moment I'm not getting to the album details group you mention which I know I saw before, but if that turns up again I'll know to interact with it and press play. I can't remember how the album details group appeared.
Doesn't work great with audible books
The frustration with this latest version of itunes is playing audible books with multiple parts is more cumbersome than it used to be. Before, if I focused on an audible book in the book grid, went into the context menu and pressed play it would automatically carry on from where it was when I was last listening. Now the play item has disappeared from the context menu which is slightly annoying because it takes longer for me to VO space, then interact and find the play button; but also if I just do that and press the play button it seems not to continue playback where I was before. The separate parts of the book are listed as separate tracks and when I wanted to continue with track two I had to interact with the track listings. Just letting people know in case you have this problem. And if anyone has a quicker method please let me know.
