A friend and I were helping someone with her IPhone6 yesterday and we were in the KNFB reader app. The phone would periodically make a swooshing sound as if it were sighing. This would come out of no where through the speaker. Does anyone know why this strange noise is happening?

This has to do with the rechability feature. To turn this off, go in to General/Accessibility, then go to rechability. It is turned on by default. You can turn this feature off if you wish.

This happens to me too. It has something to do with the connection to my Bluetooth keyboard. But I have never been able to figure out exactly what it is.

The reach ability feature is engaged when a user touches, not pressing, the home button twice quickly like a double tap. The fingerprint sensor is used, not a full press of the button. The swoosh sound indicates that the screen as been compressed to a screen where users can reach the top with a thumb from the bottom, so it is around half the size of normal with nothing at the top. The second swoosh sound is when the screen returns to normal. I am thinking that is your sound and how you were making it happen.

Yeah, this has nothing at all to do with the use of a Bluetooth keyboard. When one of them loses a connection it just stops working. No sound is associated with that action. i'm also willing to bet this is reachability.
