Hello all,
I am having issues with bootcamp. First I went to install Windows via bootcamp and it was nothing like any of the guides I have read. When it came to the first screen where you are suppose to check a few checkboxes there was no checkboxes. I just had to choose where the ISO was and partition the hard drive. It then proceeded to install the windows drivers for bootcamp. That went ok. Now when the unit went to restart, it did not come up to windows. It just came up to the normal Mac logon screen. So I went to restart it again after a few minutes. I did see a checkbox in the restart screen that said to restart into windows so I checked it. Still I cannot get the machine to boot up to Windows so I can finish the install of Windows. What can I try to resolve this because my Windows machine is failing and I have things I need to do in Windows?
Thanks for any help,
Greg Wocher

Hello,
Hello,
Assuming that your Windows installed correctly, here is how to boot into Windows. As soon as you start your computer, press and hold the option key for about five seconds. Then, press left or right arrow to select the partition on which you installed Windows. I found out through the Disk utility on my Mac that Windows is on partition 4 and the Mac OS is on partition 1. So, I press right arrow three times when going from Mac to Windows. (I should have tried to look up partition locations before attempting to boot into Windows several times to avoid guesswork).
Did you use a talking Windows pre-installation program or how did you get Windows installed? There are so many guides out there, and everyone seems to have a slightly different process.

You need to download the latest 'bootcamp drivers' from Apple's website. You can then put it on a USB storage and boot up into windows and install those drivers to have access to your wifi card and many other devices.

oh yeah, on my Mac Mini, it gets stuck on installing the drivers, I have to bring up task manager by bringing up task manager and selecting to end task to on the realtek audio drivers that is stuck on installing... Just end that installation task and it will continue. Don't end task on the whole bootcamp installation. Everything works afterwards.
Downloaded latest bootcamp drivers
Hello,
I went into the bootcamp assistant and downloaded the latest drivers to a flash drive. I then had my son help me to install them on the Windows partition. Once they were installed everything worked just fine. I was able to launch narrator and get it connected to the WIFI. Thank you to all who helped. I have never had a Windows machine boot up this fast before.
