Hello, I am considering getting a tactile screen protector for my ipad from A T guys. I was wondering if anyone has one and if it really helps find the buttons. Do you feel that the dot on every letter on the keyboard is too cluttered? I know for the ipad they only have one layout but for the phone they have a standard and an advanced layout. Also, do you think I should order a protector for an iphone even though I don't have one but I am looking into getting one soon. I already know I want the 6 or 6s.

Tactile Screen Protector questions.
Hi there Kelsey! Thank you so much for inquiring about our screen protectors! :) Because we use them as well as make and sell them, I can personally tell you that whether you're using it on your iPhone or iPad it definitely does help you locate the letters on the virtual keyboard and other commonly used controls that we have marked. Think of it similar to how you learned how to type by touch on a PC keyboard or typewriter... It's the same idea. the tactile markings make it so that you can type on your device by touch; without needing to wait to hear what Voiceover is reporting back to you. We only have one model for the iPads because the screens are so large that we felt no need to make multiple models. Our users also agreed with this during the testing phase. The iPhone and iPod touch have more than one model because we wanted to give people options to choose from based on how they used their device. For example, if someone types 90 percent on a Bluetooth keyboard or Braille display/notetaker, they might not want the standard model with the keyboard labeled; but might still want some markings to orient to other locations on the screen. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions via our web site, http://speeddots.com/ or by sending an email to [email protected]. have a great weekend! :)
tactile screen protector
Hi there! I had a tactile screen protecter on my iphone 5S. Eventually, it lost its stickiness and fell off, but I loved it when I had it. I haven't decided if I truly need one for my new 7 plus, but at least for me, having dots on all the letters was very helpful and not at all cluttered. I think that which layout you get is very subjective and probably everyone has different opinions. In any case, I highly recommend the tactile screen protectors. They're well worth the money, and I definitely think I was more proficient on my phone when I had one.
Tactile Screen Protector
Hey, Kelsey, fwiw, I like mine, & no--I don't have any affiliation w/Speed Dots whatsoever except that I bought 2 screen protectors from them--1 for my IPod, which I really like--& 1 for my IPad, which I'm not nearly as enamored with. I think the price is quite reasonable, & I must say my protector for the IPod has lasted me 3 years w/pretty constant use. If you get in a situation where you don't have a Bluetooth keyboard, they're especially good, but even if you just don't want to haul it out, they're a lifesaver.
Will an iPhone 6 Speed dots fit on an iPhone 7?
Hello all,
I was using the standard model for about one and a half years and I also liked it very much.
But now I have an iPhone 7 and I haven't purchased a new Speed Dots yet, because I haven't been able to verify for sure whether the iPhone 6 protectors will fit on the iPhone 7 also. I think Speed Dots should have done a better work on this one.
On their home page you can read:
"Tactile screen Protectors for iPhone 7, and iPhone 7Plus are now availible for purchase".
This sentence puts me to think that there's a separate product for the iPhone 7 models.
On the other hand, there's a link called "iPhone 6 & 7" on the Store page. But when selecting the desired product, there's no word about iPhone 7.
And when I googled around a bit, I found a site telling that most screen protectors for iPhone 6 won't fit an iPhone 7:
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/blog/2016/09/psa-iphone-6-screen-protectors-wont-fit-iphone-7/
So, all that said, will an iPhone 6 Speed dots screen protector fit on an iPhone 7 or not? And if Speed Dots is seeing this post, I really think they should update the web page a bit.
