I received an Aquatunes 5712 Bluetooth speaker for Christmas. It sounds really great and its a fantastic little speaker but I do have a question. Why does the speaker sound fine while playing content from ABC, CBS and YouTube etc.. but yet when I try to listen to VO, words are kind of chopped off. For example, I hear Eye gps instead of Seeing Eye Gps when I am touching the screen. Is there Anything that anyone can suggest? It would really be appreciated.
Thanks, Jason

Different Hardware, Different Results
I have had exactly what you are reporting with some blue tooth devices, and not with others. I don't think this is a setting you can change kind of thing. I think it has to do with the manufacturers implementation of the various blue tooth codecs, and any particular piece of hardware either works, or doesn't.
You may have to return the speaker for something that is better for voice over.
thank you
Hi people,
Thanks for your help on this. I am happy nothing is wrong with my iPhone SE. As for the speaker, I can throw it under a tractor traylor. I think that may solve the problem. ha ha ha ha
Same issue
I have received a set of wireless speakers for Christmas also, and have the same issue with Voiceover. Other than that, I love these small speakers.
Same problem!!!
I am jumping up and down right now because I found this post! I have a set of Bluetooth headphones. LG brand. It works great with music and TV, but I have trouble with Voice Over sounds. Funny too, because it has gotten better with my new iPhone 7. If I quickly scroll through things so I can choose what I need, the voice is kind of clear, but it still chops. I also need to know with certainty what I'm looking for on my iPhone. Because if I ssztop scrolling, the voice starts to chop even more. So you really have to swipe quickly through things. Or turn off the device and queue up the next thing with regular voice over. But that gets old very quickly.
Bluetooth Speaker
I think the issue is the audio turning off. Some speakers have the tendency to turn off to save power when no audio is being transmitted. You'll either want to have a constant audio track playing in the background to keep the speaker active, or purchase another speaker that works a little better. I'd only recommend Bluetooth speakers for listening to music and other audio where lag and these cutoff issues aren't important. Bluetooth audio still isn't perfect, and I don't think Bluetooth 5 will improve anything in the audio department.
I am puzzled
I just ordered the DKnight Magic bluetooth speaker and am getting worried about this issue. :(
What I don't understand is , at the basic level the speaker is just supposed to amplify sound. It cannot distinguish between sound coming from Voiceover or music. I wonder if the speaker itself is consistently bad in its amplification functionality and our brains are playing havoc with us. :)
blue tooth speaker
I have the bose Mini link 2, and I am not having this issue that is being described here at all. this is on an iPhone six plus. I think it has entirely to do with the quality of the speaker. bose is well known for their great quality, so might want to invest in one if you want to use it seamlessly with voiceover.
