Are there any accessible writing apps besides Google Docs and Pages?

Hey guys,
Are there any apps that work well with VoiceOver besides Pages and Docs?
I need something that can write in either a .DOCX format or just a .TXT format. Maybe even .PDF.
Thanks in advance.

There's AFB's AccessNote and I believe it's now free. I know there are others but I can't think of them at the moment. Perhaps more of the AppleVis community will chime in.
In terms of export options, scrivener and Ulysses are probably your best bets. Scrivener is $20.00, Ulysses is free for a trial period and has a number of monthly/yearly subscription options, and voice dream writer is $10.00. The reason I'd put VDW in the mix is that it supports reading and writing with high quality acapela voices, if that's important to you, and also has a functional spellchecker. Check out the feature lists for the apps in question and see which will meet your needs the best. I'm pretty familiar with both scrivener and writer, and would be happy to answer questions as needed on either app. I've only recently begun to evaluate Ulysses, but I'll do my best to answer questions on it as well with the caveat that I don't know all that much about it yet.
Somewhere I got the idea that you couldn't create documents with Word if you weren't subscribed to Office 365. You could only read and edit existing documents. Dawn, is this not true? Is Word fully functional even without a subscription to Office 365?
Hello Jeff,
You can edit self-manually created documents in Word, but unfortunately, if you get an e-mail attachment and it's a word file, you cannot edit it, unless you sign in with a Microsoft account.

Voice Dream Writer
I haven't used it myself, but there's Voice Dream Writer. Also, if you have an Office 365 subscription, there's Word for iOS.

Try Word. It's free also. I don't have Office 365, but I find it to be very accessible and work quite nicely.
Thanks
Thanks guys, I'll definitely try these recommended apps out.

Not really

I think that this is not really a necessary requirement, but for some reason it is.
