Hello, everybody,
I've been having a lot of trouble with Radium lately. I can't get any radio stations to ring. I tried to uninstall the application completely and downloaded it again but it doesn't work.
Do you know any other apps that are accessible for listening to the radio on the Mac? I get the impression that Radium is abandoned.
Thank you

I can confirm this
Their is definitely a problem with Radium. I have that same app on my Mack as well and it's not working. The best thing I can suggest is to write them on they're twitter handle @catpigstudios. You may also write to them at the e-mail address of [email protected].
Try TuneIn Radio
My wife uses TuneIn Radio all of the time. It's accessible; you can stored favorites and it can be used for non-radio listening as well, such as cable channel newscasts, etc. TuneIn is constantly being updated. The free version starts with a quick advertisement, then goes to the selected station. You can also pay for a premium version without ads.
Is there Tunein for Mac? I
Is there Tunein for Mac? I know the web and iPhone app, but I don't think there is a Mac version.
The problem with using the web is that you can't control the volume, so you can't use it at the same time as VoiceOver.
A Real Shame
It really does look as if Radium is depricated. And given the ludicrous requirement on iOS that all aps be 64-bit, that version doesn't work either. One area where radium was extremely useful was in dealing with XM--the app itself is extremely busy and unwieldy, but radium made things nice and clean to work with.
