Hi All,
Recently when I open Facebook VoiceOver announces Bookmarks. Followed by a number of unread ones. Does anyone know what these are and more importantly can they be accessed using VO? I ask because I cannot seem to access these in anyway.

It's annoying to not be able to access whatever it is

I wonder if those are saved posts.

Hi Dawn, I think they are trends or interests pages that FB gathers from what you look at. However, either way as far as I can tell we cannot access them with VO. Based on FB when it comes to updating accessibility I suspect it maybe sometime before we will be able to.

Sadly you're probably right. I don't understand why apps such as Facebook and Messenger for that matter, can't have an accessibility mode. I know that OOtunes does, and when I went into the settings to customize some things, I noticed it, and it was turned on by default at least for me. I think that Facebook, Messenger, along with other apps similar to these, should have an accessibility mode. Just my 2ยข worth.

It is not so much that these apps should have an accessibility mode. Rather, the companies shouldn't try to rush out all of these weekly updates just to have an app update. Rather, they should take time to get all of the known issues out of an app and then update it. Rushing out an app once a week just to have something to throw out there is a stupid thing to do.
