Easiest way to import WMA files into iPhone and listening to them (without using Itunes)

I have many many WMA-formatted music files. Without using Itunes, is there a way to import them into my iPhone 6S? Also, what would be an accessible, simmple music player that plays WMA files?

Where are the wma files?

This totally depends where the wma files are. Are they on a flash drive? Are they saved on a Windows or Mac computer? Are they in a cloud storage service? Are you trying to download them from a website?

They are in my Windows 7 PC

The files are on my computer. I can copy them to a thumb drive, if necessary.

Drop Box

Hi,
Have you used Drop Box to copy the WMA files from your pc to Drop Box? I use Drop Box and most of my music are in mp3 format. You can try to convert the files if you wish!

I second that your best bet is dropbox. You may need to convert the WMA files to another format like mp3 or AAC for them to play on the phone. You will also need to make sure the files in dropbox on your phone are marked as available offline if you want them actually saved to the phone so they will play without downloading every time.

It’s important to note here that a flash drive does not help you in this situation because your phone does not have a USB port or any other way to access a flash drive.

VLC

I recommend using VLC which can be found at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/vlc-for-mobile/id650377962?mt=8
The app will let you play all kinds of audio and video files. You can link it with cloud providers like Dropbox or Google Drive. It also supports uploading files via Wi-Fi, downloading files from a URL, playing Internet streams, and accessing FTP, Plex, and SMB servers. It's a really powerful app for your media content.
If the files are already on your computer, you could share the folder over the network using Windows SMB file sharing and access that share via VLC.
