Hi all! I guess this may be controversial, and I don't want to be the one who's causing a lot of problems. But I can't help noticing this issue. Specifically, I have Spotify and Safari opened on my iPhone SE, (actually, any two apps will do), running iOS 12. And I found that once I switched to Spotify, Safari becomes inactive, and once I switch to Safari, Spotify shuts itself down. Is this how the new system speeds up the experience? Or am I not doing something right? I'm really puzzled, since in the past I could have three apps running, and none is not active. I could use the four-finger swipe gesture on each of the apps. But now, I can only switch apps through the app switcher, and the four-finger swipe doesn't work.
Has anyone else incountered this strange problem? Or is there a setting that I need to look at? I'm really puzzled!

How about background app refresh?
One point just popped into my mind, I've turned all background app refresh off. Does this contribute to my problem? Hope to hear from you all!
Fine on iPhone 6S
Hi,
I am not having this issue on an iPhone 6S after updating to IOS12.
The App Switcher runs as it should and I can use the 4 finger swipe to switch between running Apps.
On a side note, and not wishing to cause offence, but for future posts try putting some specific details of the problem you encounter in the Subject line. That way, AppleViziers will know what to expect when opening your post, this problem will be searchable and it will reduce the chance of someone else reporting the same problems in a seperate thread.
I hope that you can resolve your problem. Have a happy day.

Thanks for your reply
I was actually trying to reduce the word count in the subject line, probably not very successful in pinpointing the problem, haha. Well, I'm now guessing that it might also have something to do with not every app has been updated for iOS 12? I'm just guessing here. Thanks for your warm wishes though!
