Hello,
I've decided to use Apple music, just for the first three months right now. I find this really nice as I can download full albums and listen to them offline.
I have a question: one of my devices is used by my daughter on my Appleid. When one of us adds music to the library or downloads/deletes the content it is deleted or added on all devices. Is it possible not to synchronise data but enjoy listening the content offline? Please note that I use the regular subscription for one member. Thank you for your help!

RE: Apple music and downloading content
I also use the single member subscription. As far as I know, because your daughter uses the same Apple ID, whatever one of you decides to do in the app will reflect on the other devices that are also synchronized to the same ID. If you give her her own Apple ID and then use the family sharing subscription level, then when you add, delete, or make other changes, they will not reflect on your daughter's devices. I don't think there is a way around this issue. Perhaps someone else on this forum may know something that will help you otherwise.
Music settings
If you scroll down to Music under Settings and double-tap that, there's an iCloud toggle (on/off) there. I think if you turn this off, your changes to your music library will not sync across devices. Give that a try and let us know if it's what you want.
RE: Music settings
I don't think this will serve because if iCloud is turned off and you subscribe to Apple Music, you lose any playlists, albums, etc. It's true that changes on one device wouldn't be reflected on another device, if iCloud sync is disabled, but then most of what you pay for is also disabled.
You're probably right.
You're probably right, Roxann. What I do know is that my wife and I use the same Apple ID. I've downloaded songs to my phone and they are not being downloaded to her phone.
Here's another place to check. In Settings, tap on your account. Under your account settings you'll find a button for iTunes and App Store. In that section is a heading for automatic downloads. Turn Music off in this section. In fact, you can turn off other things (such as apps) that you don't want automatically downloaded to all devices on the same Apple ID. Music is turned off in this setting for both myself and my wife and she doesn't get music downloaded to her phone that I download to my phone.
That said, the music library is in the cloud and will be the same on all devices on the same Apple ID. There's no way around this, but each person can make their own playlists to play their favorite tracks from the library.
Hope this helps. Let us know.
