Siri now repeats messages twice before asking for confirmation

For about a month, I have had a problem with Siri repeating a message twice when she asks me to confirm the message in question.
I could for example call Siri by:
"Send SMS to John Doe, Testing testing."
And her reply will be:
"Your message to John Doe is Testing testing. Your message to John Doe is Testing testing. Do you want me to send it?"
The repeating of the messages can become an issue if the messages are quite long, and especially if I'm in a hurry.

I use iPhone 6S with iOS 12.1. I use the Swedish language, so I don't know the exact phrases that Siri uses when saying these commands in English.
