searching for the nfb newsline app on ipad

By arlene s on Friday, May 11, 2018 - 17:16

From what I thought I understood was that the newsline app was for the ipad as well as the iphone, but when we go to each for it on the ipad we're not finding it. How can I search for it and find it if it is still on the ipad? thank you.

Great Walkthrough

Hi Abby and thanks for a great walkthrough. I've been an NFB Newsline subscriber for several years and enjoy it very much. I think I actually got this app confused with the KNFB Reader, which costs money that I don't have right now. But I'll most certainly be downloading the Newsline app on my phone. I'll admit I've never been much of a news hound, but that's starting to change.

In reply to Great Walkthrough by Ekaj

Even if you're not much of a newshound, with all the variety of newspapers, variety of catagories in magazines, the blindness information for organizations, nfb and act, whatever your interest is I think you'll really enjoy it. We did actually find the newsline app on the ipad eventually.

Awesome App

By Ekaj on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 17:16

I'm back here to say that I now have this app and am using it frequently, although not as frequently as I'd like due to things going on at my apartment complex. But this app is truly great. I'm impressed with the wide array of content that has been made available to us, and I like the fact that we don't have to bother with those inaccessible news sites! I think the audio tutorial has to be updated though, as most of it is not even present in the app. I won't be at either national convention this summer, but I'll be tweeting using #NFB19 during their convention. Thanks NFB for a wonderful app and keep up the nice work!
