Hello everyone, Today I just picked up the Allen and Heath Zed 10FX Mixer for my podcast and music recording. I also have a Shure SM 58 and an RCA cable to connect my iPod to the whole set up. I am having trouble with the final step of getting it to connect to the mac though.

I have an anker folio Bluetooth keyboard for my ipad. The instructions say to pair it press the fn and delete keys. Can anyone please tell me where these keys are located on this keyboard?
Just as a side note I don't like how a lot of manufacturers are designing their keyboards these days, pressing keystrokes instead of just an on/off switch. This could be difficult for someone blind who is not familiar with the layout of the keyboard and does not have sighted assistants.

Hi everyone,

I am looking hard for a wired + Bluetooth headset to use with my IPhone 6, with commands (volume, tracks, play/pause/take a call) both on the headset and the wire. So it could be used without touching the iPhone screen weither i am on Bluetooth or wired.
I am especially looking for a light one with no headvand, but rather one that goes behind the neck or even better one that fits the ears like the bose Bose soundsport. I dislike indeep -ears plugs...

I'm totally blind. Does anybody out there do rad science? I can use my PC with JAWS, but ran into problems feeding my radiation detector into an iPhone 4S using the Geiger Bot ap.
Does anybody do ap modifications?
the word "button" appears all over the screen, but without lables. Voice over does read some of the setting lables.
This would be a simple way to get a small, portable talking Geiger counter if it could be made to work.

So because of everything going on nowadays, I’ve taken up online activities. Unfortunately with my vocal disability along with very little vision it was quite frustrating to try and get people to hear me.

So I went ahead and ordered apples Lightning to 3.55 mm adaptor along with a clip on microphone on Amazon. It all arrived a couple days ago and I was so excited to get all set up and running. My mom helped read all of the instructions and I followed everything exactly, here is what I did.

Hello to all. I might be buying this printer, but to anyone who owns it I have some question

  1. Can I hook up with ethernet?
  2. Can I set it up via an interface over the mac?
  3. How accessible is the thing in terms of copying? I probably won't need to use that function but my family might. Can I easily set it back up to print?

Here is the link.

Thanks all.

Hello AppleVis,
I wanted to ask about Network Attached Storage accessibility. I have read the posts I have seen on here One was back in 2014, and the other was back in 2015. Has there been any accessible Network Attached storage accessibility improvements? I have been considering the idea of getting one.
Which is the better accessibility wise. my family I'm really the only tech savvy person.

Because my wife and kids aren't particularly good managers, I am the default network administrator and backup manager of our home's computer and smart devices. We have gotten to the point where individual backups are taking way too much of my time, so I plan to automate the process with a NAS.
I have done a good bit of research and narrowed my choices to two different manufacturers - Drobo and Synology.

Hi all.

I have a MacBook Pro 13 inch the old style, which is last released in 2017, the only problem I have, is, the keyboard is too small to use. Has anybody got the new MacBook Pro 13 inch? If so, what is the new magic keyboard like, are the keys bigger, or are they smaller?

Please help as I am considering upgrading.

Any changes as a voice-over user would also be gratefully appreciated, if somebody can let me know if there are any changes to voice-over.

Many thanks and stay safe

Hi all,

For those of you who have the new AirPods with Bluetooth 5.0, can you please answer this question? I have found reviews of the new device on YouTube, and as long as you're using a Bluetooth 5.0 transmitter, the microphone quality seems to be much better than Bluetooth 4 and earlier.

the 2021 imac comes in seven colors, what color did you or would you choose? maybe you insist you don't care, but you should, because the colors of your devices say a lot about you.

i'm shopping for a new imac, and i've narrowed my color choices to purple and silver. so what color did you choose, or would you choose if you are about to make a new purchase: green, pink, blue, silver, orange, yellow or purple?

Hi everyone.

I have both the iPhone 6 and an iPhone 7.

I find I'm really struggling with the 7 at the moment and feel totally at home with the 6. I don't know if there's a docking feature I could use with my 7 so I can plug the lightning headset in and the power supply too?

I love my iPhone 6 but at the same time I feel I should be going to the 7. With the 7 I find it more sensitive to touch which somehow puts me off using it.

Advise would be welcome.

By the way can you get a battery case for the 7 yet?

Cheers.

I have been using an Otter Box, one of the Defender series I think, at any rate, one that covers the entire phone including hard plastic screen protector built in and a latex or whatever soft surround that protects the top, bottom and sides of the case, for quite some time. The only thing I haven't liked is the bulk of the thing. So, I am looking for advice on which of a couple of paths I should take. First, I could go with the current equivalent of my current case. It is strong protection, but as I said, it makes the phone a bit unweildy.

Hi Everyone,

As you may be aware, Native Instruments has just released an update for their popular DAW, Maschine. I've received many private messages asking about the operation of this new software in conjunction with my software overlay, which together provides excellent accessibility.
I've decided to host an Impromptu webinar about it this evening at 5:30pm GMT.
Please follow the link below to join and looking forward to seeing you there!
