Hello all!
I've got a question about the Fb. app. I noticed in the last update it said that it introduced Facebook news. Well, I'm trying 2 find out about it from Google & getting nowhere. How do I access it? Is it built into my newsfeed, or is there a separate section for it? I even went 2 the Fb. menu tab, hit all shortcuts, & still no dice. How do I access it? And use it?
iOS and iPadOS
I know some people like this feature but I don't. You are on fb listening to a long post when you get a notification. The way fb works is when you get a notification voiceover interrupts what you are listening to and reads you that notification, then you have to listen all over again to the post you were listening to first. Fb needs to change this behavior. I will go to my notifications section to read my notifications thank you very much.
Is there a way I can stop vo from doing this?
I love all the shortcut actions offered with VoiceVista. The developers understood you would use it hands-free.
But when I use Seeing AI, Aira's Access AI or Be My Ai in Be My Eyes, I struggle to hold the object I want described, hold the phone and push the "quick capture" or "take picture" button. I really wish there was a shortcut for that.
Even with IOS 14.4. when in today view; I am not able to get the list of my favourite contacts. I have to open the phone app. then tap the Favorites tab to get to them. This is very unproductive. Earlier I just had to swipe right with 3 fingers to bring up the todays view and use heading navigation to get to the list of Favorites.
The last two or three versions of the FedEx app appear to be completely broken and inaccessible. Essentially, when you open the app, you cannot click on any of the buttons except for maybe one and when you click that button everything goes away and you end up in the status bar and cannot do anything else with the app. It's completely unusable. Is anyone else experiencing this or have any thoughts? have already tried deleting the app, logging out and logging back in. Running the latest version of iOS on an iPhone 16 Pro.
I am looking for feedback about the best and most accessible password manager to use on my Windows PC with JAWS and my iPhone 6S using VoiceOver. I was using KeyPass but can no longer get it to work and I would like something that's not too complicated. I just need a program that can generate strong passwords and can be opened with a master password. I've heard discussions on this list about One Password and LastPass and was just wondering which program users prefer? Thanks for any feedback you all can provide.
Hello Everyone,
I sent to a feedback to the Be My Eyes team, asking them to create a shortcut which takes the screenshot and share with the app and describe only the VoiceOver focused area in the screenshot.
If anyone of you feel this feature is required, please use the below email template. To send the email.

Dear Be My Eyes Team,
Hi folks,
As we all know, the new features Apple’s intelligence has to offer are game-changing. However, we’ve encountered a few issues with the summarizing functions and the unavailability of writing tools in some apps when using VoiceOver. Here’s the feedback I’ve prepared—it's important to submit feedback about these issues as we encounter them. We’ve seen many examples where Apple has addressed our concerns through feedback, either via [email protected] or the Feedback Assistant app included in beta software.
Hi all! I just did a beta release of some software I've been working on for a few months now. Accessibility is one of its primary goals, so I wanted to ask if people would be willing to use it and give feedback if they can. Any notes at all would be much appreciated. Important note: this is a demo site, and, due to how expensive Google Cloud text-to-speech is, I cannot afford to keep it running indefinitely. I am working on solving this problem, but for now, I plan on shutting down the beta in about a week.
A big hi to the AppleVis community,
My name is Alex and I am the developer for NewsPlaya (pronounced: News-player) - a talking RSS and Twitter app. I developed the app because I wanted to consume news articles and tweets hands-free, for example whilst I am at the gym and commuting. I am not visually impaired.
Update: I switched to lire for now.
Hi
I've been a happy user of feedler pro 2 for a couple of months, but lately it's started crashing when I access articles from feeds in full text, which makes it pretty much unusable.
I've contacted the dev, but so far no response. Is anyone else experiencing this? Alternatively, do you have a good alternative for full text feed reading?
Best
Malthe
I am looking at the Fender Mustang GTX electric guitar amp. The amp comes with an app the "Fender Tone" app for additional controls of the physical amp. Has anyone experience with this app? Is it accessible? I did a search on the applevis website and found a positive note on the "Fender Tune" tuning app. Just wondering about the Fender tone app. Any
Good Morning,
I've just started a new podcast & would like to be able to edit it using Ferrite Recording Studio.
Does anyone here have first-hand experience on how this is done using Voiceover with the touch screen?
One of the issues I'm having is moving tracks into the correct order.
I'm also having an issue where silence is heard, when I playback my recording.
I tried using the, "Trim silence" option, to no avail.
I'm running the latest version of the app under iOS/iPadOS 18.1.

Hello everybody. In first words of this post I would like to apologize for my questions which maybe are silly, but I am new here and I already got my first Apple device. I have never used Apple products before.
I must say that the worst thing for me is typing and adding contacts, do you have any tricks how to learn typing easily? Calling is difficult too right now *smiles* I mean if I have to call someone by typing a nuber of a person I want to call. I heard about Siri, is she helpful? Can she add contacts for example *smiles*
